You earned the 2nd greatest scoring performance in the NBA with 81 points in a single game and became 3rd on the NBA All-Time scoring list, forever etching your name in NBA History.

This was the buzz game of the night, as the crowd anticipated a great
showdown between Canada Elite's Thon Maker and Team Loaded's Edrice "Bam"
Adebayo. The teams had the crowd on the edge of their feet even in warmups
and into a frenzied state when the 7-foot Maker broke a defender down off
the dribble, made him reel backwards and nailed a jumper. The powerfully
built 6-foot-9 Adebayo came back with a monster tip jam to get the
standing-room only crowd anticipating the next highlight play.

There wasn't too many more highlights from the big men, but the crowd was
treated to a shooting exhibition in Team Loaded's comeback victory. Brandon
Robinson, a 6-foot-6 wing from Douglas County (Ga.), led the way for Team
Loaded after it trailed 31-24 at halftime. He nailed seven 3-pointers and
finished with a game-high 29 points. Robinson impressed enough on Wednesday
night for the University of Louisville to offer him a scholarship.

Canada Elite kept it close behind the second half play of 6-foot-7 forward
Justin Jackson, a UNLV commit from nearby Findlay Prep (Henderson, Nev.),
but playing the foul game didn't work in its favor down the stretch. Jackson
finished with 19 points.

Adebayo finished with 10 points while Maker had a total of nine.

You might remember back in May when Shareef's name went viral after a video was released of Shaq cheering on his 6'8 son as he dominated his competition. A week after the video dropped, USC dropped an offer in the mail box of Shareef.

In a game of great individual matchups, the two standouts players on 1
Nation made the big plays in the end to help their team pull out the
victory. The game was tied at 90 when 1 Nation's Josh Jackson, the Nation's
No. 1 ranked player by 247Sports.com, scored on a conventional 3-point play,
a driving lay-up, with approximately 45 seconds remaining to give his team a
93-90 lead.

Belmont Shore had a turnover thereafter, but got second life when 1 Nation's
Jaylen McFadden missed the front end of a 1-and-1 situation. Belmont Shore
had an opportunity to potentially tie the game, but guard Christian Popoola
Jr. missed a driving layup. The game was then sealed when Miles Bridges, a
6-foot-7 wing forward from Huntington Prep (Huntington, W. Va.) who earlier
in the day played with the Mac Irvin Fire at the Bigfoot Las Vegas Classic,
nailed three free throws. Bridges finished with 19 points while Jackson
added 16 points for 1 Nation.

P.J. Washington, a 6-foot-8 power forward from Findlay Prep (Henderson,
Nev.), led Belmont Shore with 21 points. Ethan Thompson, like Washington a
rising junior who spent his sophomore season at Bishop Montgomery (Torrance,
Calif.), added 17 points.

Now in its 14th year, the Jordan Brand Classic will return to Brooklyn, N.Y., in April with games showcasing the top boys, girls and international basketball players. For the third consecutive year, Barclays Center will host the top boys in the nation on Friday, April 17, as part of a quadruple-header event. These future stars follow in the footsteps of some of the greatest in the game, including Jordan Brand athletes Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and Jabari Parker. The game will be televised nationally on ESPN2 at 8 p.m. EST.

 

The International Game, now in its eighth year, will tip off the event by featuring elite 16-and-under basketball players from around the world at 1:30 p.m. EST.

 

At 3:30 p.m. EST, Maya Moore — Team Jordan athlete, reigning MVP and champion at every level of the game — will host the inaugural competition featuring the best young female basketball players in the country.

 

Local talent will take the floor, at 5:30 p.m., in the annual New York City Regional Game in a City versus Suburbs showdown. The headlining contest featuring the top young male basketball players in the nation will take place at 8 p.m. EST, rounding out a blockbuster day of basketball games.

 

Rosters for the boys’ and girls’ Jordan Brand Classic teams can be found below. The top 26 prospects from across the country are organized into teams based on geography and matchups. The International team will be revealed in late March.

James Harden scored 22 of his 27 points in the fist half which included 13 consecutive points in the 2nd quarter against the Bulls.

Down by 1 with 39 seconds to go, Norris Cole committed one of the worst inbound fails I've ever seen. He inbounded the ball to  Hassan Whiteside who passed the ball back to Cole and then Cole told Whiteside to go out of bounds and then passed him the ball...out of bounds! Heat Lose by 1.

Even this play would have been less embarrassing.

Oh well, Norris can expect to be on the next episode of Shaqtin' a Fool.

First lets take a look at one of the greatest NBA post men to ever play, Kevin McHale. Kevin stood 6"10 in his playing days and had ridiculously long arms which definitely helped out his post game. Sure McHale was known to be bit of a black hole when it came to possession of the ball, but his moves in the post where about one thing, patience. Take a look at his post move clinic highlight video with McHale's patented up and under.

Next move on the list is the Killer Crossover, the UTEP 2-Step by none other than the crossover godfather, Tim Hardaway.  Sleight of hand and a change in direction, that's all it took. Tim Hardaway just wanted to reach the rim for a layup without traveling in a straight line, and figured the best way was to go left, then right. Or right, then left. "My whole purpose was to confuse the defenders" said Hardaway, and it worked.

This is the first signature move on the list from this generation is the Tony Parker spin-cycle. We could've easily went with his devastating floater, but his spin move is way too effective to leave off. Tony first starts has move with a simple cross dribble to get his defender leaning towards the side he wants to spin away from, spins, takes a huge gather step and he's right there for an easy dish or a layup.

The last move on the on the list for this week is one of the most beautiful moves in basketball,  George Gervin's finger roll. Gervin was a smooth operator on the court with a dangerous mid range game and super lanky (think KD's body). The finger roll is probably not the most effective for most players, but it was sure effective for the Iceman. Take a look at beautiful montage.

During Fresno State's "Red and White Hoops Night" former Ballislife All-American Cezar Guerrero hit 5 (not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4 in my best LeBron voice) half court shots and the crowd acted like he was shooting free throws.

Well, then I saw the following dunk contest video with Karachi Edo, Isaiah Bailey and Paul Watson and found out why the crowd wasn't that live.

Damn this was one ugly play. If you just read the title "Hedo drops Anthony Tollivers & then hits the fadeaway 3-pointer" you might be thinking you are about to see some Jamal Crawford type stuff. I think what happened was Hedo Turkoglu crossed Anthony Tolliver over, causing Tolliver to fall, and then Hedo stumbled around chasing the ball before taking and making an off balance, off one-foot 3-footer.

The last time Jabari Parker faced off against Andrew Wiggins and the TWolves, Parker won the game for the Bucks with an impressive spin and slam.  Wednesday's rematch was a little different. Parker led the Bucks with team-highs of 18 points and 9 rebounds but the Wiggins-less TWolves came out victorious despite Wiggins, Mo Williams, Corey Brewer & Kevin Martin sitting, Anthony Bennett coming up with a donut and Zach laVine scoring just 5 points.

Marcin Gortat couldn't hit a shot (1-6) against the Knicks but he was able to prevent a few Knicks from scoring. The best of the 3 blocks was a poster preventing block on Iman Shumpert which led to a wide-open reverse dunk by John Wall who had no problem hitting shots against the Knicks.

Wall scored 29 on 10 of 16 from the field and 7 of 8 from the line.

Will Melo fit in the triangle offense? Does Melo need to score more than 25 a game for the Knicks to win? Those were some of the biggest questions being discussed over the past couple of days about Carmelo Anthony and the Knicks. We don't know and wont' know the answer for a while but we do know if you give the ball to Melo and ask him to score, he will score.

Melo scored 30 including a tie-breaker with 13.9 seconds left in last night's win over John Wall (29pts) and the Wizards. He also got an and-1 on that jumper but I'm not sure he was actually fouled.  The Knicks' bench also erupted after the foul call and I'm not sure if the Knicks' bench knows this is just preseason.

Oh well, a happy Knicks team at anytime of the year is a happy sight for many.
