    Thanks to an opportunity through her graduate program and connections she gained in the sports
    industry in Seattle, Emily was provided the opportunity to work the women’s March Madness
    games that were hosted at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle. Her primary responsibility was
    compiling game notes with notable statistics and milestones for media and postgame press
    conference use.

    At the University of Washington, Emily is the sports information director for the gymnastics
    program. She is responsible for written content for the team, website management, social media
    engagement, and media coordination for all gymnastics events. She also assists with other sports
    at UW including men’s and women’s soccer and men’s and women’s basketball.
