2022-23 College Basketball Championship Odds

Before March Madness gets underway it is Houston that currently finds itself being courted by the sportsbooks the most. At the time of writing, they are just +475 to win this year’s edition of the tournament.

The odds suggest they will be the team to beat this year and if the formbook is adhered to, they will be the dominant force of 2023. However, the formbook also has a habit of being thrown out of the window, and Alabama as the second favorite will hope this is the case.

If it is not to be either of those two that come out on top, then the likes of Perdue, Kansas, and UCLA will hope they are in the mix. While at +2500 Baylor will hope they are in the mix but this may have to be considered wishful thinking.

Baylor Stats

  • Baylor has picked up just one outright March Madness victory. However, it did come as recently as 2021 when they beat Gonzaga in the final by 86 points to 70.
  • In addition to their appearance in the final two years ago, Baylor made the final in 1948. However, this time they would have to make do with being the losing outfit.
  • Two appearances in the final and one more in the Final Four. Two years after their loss in the final, they would fall short at the tournament’s penultimate hurdle.

Will Baylor Win March Madness?

Baylor may have won March Madness in 2021 but last year only showed how difficult it is to keep hold of the victors’ crown. A Second Round defeat to North Carolina ended their defense earlier than expected.

Now though the wait of being defending champions has been removed and this may aid the Bears’ hopes of outright success in 2023. They certainly are not on the list of genuine favorites but you would be foolish to think they are outsiders at the same time.

Where to bet on Baylor during March Madness

As March Madness approaches, the time to place your bets is diminishing by the second. Are you going to back Baylor to come out on top or will your wagers be placed elsewhere during 2023’s edition of the tournament?
