We have UFC 304 on tap this weekend in Manchester, England which will be the first time that UFC has been back there since 2016 taking place at the brand new Co-Op Arena.
On the UFC Fight Pass Early Prelims we have a bout in the men's flyweight division between two ranked competitors as No. 6 Muhammad Mokaev and No. 8 Manel Kape battle it out for a potential crack at the flyweight title.
This flyweight matchup has fireworks written all over it so let's take a look at this matchup and our Mokaev-Kape prediction and pick.
Muhammad Mokaev (11-0)?the undefeated phenom is set to put his undefeated record on the line against his toughest competition to date when he takes on the No. 8 ranked contender Manel Kape in front of his hometown fans.
Mokaev took the UFC by storm as one of the youngest flyweights to get signed to the UFC at just 20 years old where he kicked off his UFC debut with a 58-second submission victory over Cody Durden and has now won all 6 of his fights in his UFC career.
Mokaev was born in Dagestan, Russia which is where his fighting style has come from with his relentless grappling pressure.
His grappling will be key in this matchup against the dangerous "Starboy" Manel Kape. Kape possesses arguably the biggest punching power in the entire flyweight division and he will be looking to knock Mokaev's head off of his shoulders.
It will be wise for Mokaev to go to the well with his grappling early and often much like he's done in all of his UFC fights. If he can avoid the power punches of Kape and get this fight to the mat he has a great chance of keeping his unbeaten streak alive and stake his claim for the next flyweight title shot.
Manel Kape (19-6)?is on the brink of flyweight title contention and a fight with Muhammad Mokaev will further solidify that if he's victorious this weekend at UFC 304.
Manel Kape is 4-2 in the UFC facing off against some of the toughest opposition since joining the promotion. In his first two UFC fights he faced off against the current flyweight champion Alexandre Pantoja and top-ranked competitor Matheus Nicolau. While he lost both of those fights many have argued he should've gotten the nod on the judge's scorecards.
Since those two losses, he's gone on to win each of his next 4 bouts most recently coming off a unanimous decision over the highly-touted Felipe dos Santos.
In this matchup, Kape is going to have to utilize his speed and power to negate the wrestling and grappling advantage that Mokaev will possess in this fight. If Kape lands his counters as Mokaev comes within range, he's going to be shooting his takedowns too far out as he did against Alex Perez making them easily telegraphed.
From there, the tide will start to turn as Kape's continued forward pressure will wear down Mokaev overtime as he takes desperate shots just like he did in his last fight and Kape makes him pay for it put him away late getting the knockout or TKO victory.

These two flyweights are going to put on a show in the early prelims this weekend at UFC 304.
Ultimately, expect a high-octane fight between these two flyweights but it will be Manel Kape who will be landing the much heavier shots and winning minutes on the feet, and as Mokaev gets desperate he will get caught searching for the takedown and gets put out as Kape comes with his 5th win in a row.
FINAL MOKAEV-KAPE? PICK & PREDICTION: MANEL KAPE (+136)
