With the launch of mobile betting just around the corner, we wanted to take some time to confirm that Bet365 is legal in Kentucky.

In order to obtain a legitimate license, new operators are required to undergo external auditing before being deemed safe and fair to operate in the Bluegrass State. Is Bet365 legal in KY?

After the passing of Bill HB 511 back in March, sports betting is considered legal in Kentucky. The bill suggests that a possible 27 new sportsbooks have the potential to secure mobile betting licenses; however, all must secure retail partnerships and be vetted by the KHRC.

Thanks to a partnership with Sandy’s Gaming and Racing, and the license obtained from the Kentucky Horse Racing Commission, Bet365 is regulated and legally eligible to offer its mobile services to sports bettors from the Bluegrass State.

Can you bet on Bet365 in Kentucky yet?

Although Bet365 is legal in Kentucky, you won’t be able to benefit from its various perks until September 28th, 2023. At 6:00am on launch day, you’ll find that Bet365 will open its virtual doors, allowing you to see its complete mobile sports betting platform.

Leading up to the big release, we’ve found that new players can register with Bet365 to unlock an exciting pre-launch promotion. After the launch, you’ll be able to win $10 in bonus bets per touchdown scored on a game of your choosing. Full terms and conditions are yet to be released, but we do know that the pre-launch bonus is capped at $50 and can only be used by new bettors joining within state lines.

The waiting game continues for just a little longer. However, we do know that Bet365 is legal in Kentucky and will be launching on September 28th, 2023. Although the specifics of the mobile betting platform are yet to be confirmed, we can tell you that the pre-launch promotion provides you with $10 per touchdown on any nominated NFL game. Bet365 has also secured a partnership with Sandy’s Gaming and Racing, cementing its status as a legal operator.
