NBA betting continues as the Indiana Pacers will host the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday, March 6th in this Eastern Conference matchup at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. This will be the third game in a four game series. The 76ers are trying to win their third straight against the Pacers this season, but this will be the first game outside of the city of Brotherly Love. Look for Aaron Nesmith of the Pacers to remain out and Tobia Harris enter questionable after leaving Saturday’s game.
Mama there goes that man. Tyrese Haliburton showed Sunday why he is the lone Pacers all star after hitting a go ahead 3 with less than 3 seconds left. The point guard’s late perimeter bucket secured a road win against a disappointing Chicago Bulls team. It wasn’t just Tyrese though. 5 Pacers collectively got into the double-digit scoring column with Mathurin knocking down 17, Duarte with 15, Myles Turner with 16 and newcomer Jordan Nwora with 10. The Pacers almost had 100 field goal attempts form the floor shooting 51% on the 94 attempts.
After a lackluster performance in San Antonio, the Pacers were able to get back going offensively. It’s going to take that type of effort for the Pacers to end their current 2 game skid this season again Embiid and company. Not having Aaron Nesmith will hurt defensively and the Pacers have already got a great team on that side of the ball already. Indiana needs to stop the 76ers from getting 120 points in this one. That’s easier said than done considering Philly is still in the conversation for the number 1 seed.
The 76ers just snapped the 16 game winning streak of the Milwaukee Bucks. That’s impressive enough. After being down entering the fourth quarter, the 76ers dropped a 48 point bomb to win the game 133-130. The dynamic duo of James Harden and Joel Embiid combine to score 69 points. Key role player Tyrese Maxey got into the scoring fun as well as he put up a respectable 26 points on 66% shooting. James Harden was one rebound away from a double-double.
An emotional win is nothing if followed by a let down defeat. This is game one of a back to back where the Philly squad heads to Indiana then to Minnesota the next night for a primetime matchup. Even though the Bucks ran 16 straight, the 76ers are only 4 games out and control their destiny. Their defense stifled the Pacers in their first game and if they can prevent Indiana from getting to the 120 point mark themselves, a victory should be in tow.
The 76ers and Pacers have played each other twice already this year. Both times the 76ers came away with victories. They were also at home both times. This will be the first game where the Pacers host Phila.

In this matchup, I look for the Pacers to cover the 7 points. I do not expect Tobias Harris to play after leaving Saturday’s game. The Pacers have been feisty at home. I expect the 76ers to win the game, but I expect it to be close like the last time these two played when it went into overtime.
I think that the Pacers are going to cover. If they cover then they’re going to have to score. I would bet the over on this one. I wouldn’t be surprised if both teams get things going on the offensive end and end up matching each other’s shots. This has a chance to be a great game throughout.
