The Lakers held Memphis to just 38.7% shooting from the field last Tuesday. Los Angeles shot 45.6% of its field goals, out boarding the Grizzlies 57 to 45. Los Angeles allowed just six offensive rebounds that night. Anthony Davis scored 30 points, had 22 rebounds and made a few blocks. Dennis Schroder, Austin Reaves and Austin Reaves each contributed 17 points.

The No. 9 seed is now shared by the Lakers and the New Orleans Pelicans. The Lakers have the highest defensive rating in the NBA with 107.6 points per 100 possessions since the trade deadline. They are now 6-2 SU/ATS in their eight previous visits to any of the locations they have played.
