But although Diamond Cascade comes with:

Cascading Reels for matching colors

Wins are achieved by matching symbols from left to right along one of the paylines. But once the win has been evaluated another feature comes into play. Every symbol appears on a colorful background, and clusters of matching background colors vanish from the reels to fill a meter alongside the game. Once filled, it adds a global multiplier which is applied to all wins until the next spin.

The Wild symbol can substitute for any other paytable symbol aside from Scatters. It only appears on the three central reels so it can’t generate wins on its own. There’s also a Scatter symbol which awards Coin prizes for landing 3 or more in view. The Scatter symbols are included in the Cascading Reels mechanic, helping to generate bigger win multipliers.

Three or more Scatters activate the game’s bonus feature, awarding 15 free spins. Landing three more Scatters will retrigger the bonus, which retains all the features of the base game. But now the multiplier value doesn’t reset between spins, encouraging bigger prize payouts, particularly if you keep collecting colored clusters.
