What's the most bizarre thing you have ever seen during an NBA game?

A great example of a bizarre NBA moment is when Manu Ginobili swatted a live bat in the middle of a Halloween game between the Spurs and Kings and then had to get a rabies shot after the game.

A great recent moment happened earlier this year when controversial ref Eric Lewis missed a late call causing LeBron James to jump around the court before collapsing to the ground while Patrick Beverley walked up to the ref with a camera to show him the missed call.

One of our favorite bizarre moments happened in 2010, when LeBron's banana boat buddy Carmelo Anthony collapsed to the ground after bumping into 215-pound Kevin Durant and laid there for over two minutes while J.R. Smith and his other Denver teammates continued to play. Melo eventually got up, went to the locker room and was asked by one of the team trainers to say the months backwards. Melo responded: "I can't do that regularly."

So what does it take to make Russell Westbrook smile and enjoy a post-game interview? How about an opportunity for him to roast Charles Barkley.

"He might be the worst dresser on that panel," replied Westbrook when David Aldridge pulled out an infamous pic of Barkley in 92. "By far. It's not even close. Chuck is terrible."

How terrible? Let's look back at a few of Barkley's most "turrible" outfits, starting with these suits from his afro-wearing days in high school.

PIZZA PIZZA

Apparently the Round Mound of Rebound was a big fan of eating pizza while leading the SEC in rebounding as a 6'6 center. Shout out to the Rifleman Chuck Person!

THE NBA DRAFT

Barkley wasn't happy about being drafted to the 76ers during the great 1984 draft. If that wasn't bad enough, he had to be drilled with questions about not making the Olympic team and being overweight while wearing one awful suit.

MEETING CHRIS WEBBER FOR THE FIRST TIME

Barkley and Chris Webber have had their memorable moments. Most will remember when a rookie Webber went behind his back and dunked over Barkley. Some might remember Barkley getting revenge by dropping 54 points (27 in the first quarter) on Webber in the 1994 Playoffs.  I'm sure Webber remembers both of those encounters and the pants Barkley was wearing when they first met during Webber's high school days.  Shout out to Rick Mahorn!

ANYTHING LESS WOULD BE UNCIVILIZED

There's nothing wrong with the outfit but this throwback was too good for me not to use.

In the early 90s, Barkley did a bunch of commercials for Right Guard deodorant and here's his most memorable one with the line, "off to the foxes."

LOOKING FOR A MAP

This pic came during the Dream Team's visit to Barcelona. It looks like he's looking for a local map and hopefully directions to a clothing store. The expression on the guy in the back says it all.

GEORGE?

I know it's George magazine and they needed an eye-catching cover but this was just awkward. And speaking of magazine covers, here's his controversial SI cover photo for the "Charles Unchained" issue.

SHAQ'S SPARKLES

This jacket supposedly belonged to Shaq and Barkley wore it during an episode of Inside The NBA. Maybe he was honoring Elton John that night.

THE FORCE

This is the most famous fashion mistake by Barkley and the one Russell Westbrook had a laugh at. Despite the outfit, it didn't stop the fans in Barcelona from trying to get his autograph while slipping him their phone numbers.

LOSE LIKE A MAN

By far the worst look on Barkley is when he tries to look like those Churros-eating women in San Antonio he's always making fun of.  There's this "Loose Like A Man" Weight Watchers' campaign and there's the time he played Alicia Keys on SNL.

The most important dunk from the Spurs and Cavs game on Saturday was Kawhi Leonard sealing the win with a steal and dunk in OT. The most shocking dunk attempt came before the game when Kyrie Irving attempted a windmill off the bounce dunk, shocking teammates LeBron James and Richard Jeffeson - two guys who know a thing or two about throwing down windmills.

Richard Jefferson laughed and said, "You've done a windmill before." I'm sure Irving has and probably still can but the only "fancy" dunks you are going to find of Kyrie on YouTube is a 360 off the bounce during his high school days (with his buddy Brandon Knight) and a 1-hand dunk off the glass during Duke's Countdown to Craziness event from seven years ago.

Jefferson also joked about doing a between the legs dunk from the first time in the mic'd up video. My initial thought was he threw down an Eastbay dunk during his 2003 Nike commercial with Vince Carter but he didn't. Oh well, it's always fun re watching this video.

Here's a hilarious story by former Portland Trailblazer Antonio Harvey about the day Rasheed Wallace almost lost his life to the great Arvydas Sabonis. The day was April 15th of 2001 and the setting was a game between the Blazers and Lakers at Staples. During the first half, the 7'3 Lithuanian legend took a hit from Shaquille O'Neal, flopped and accidentally smacked Rasheed Wallace in the face, chipping his tooth. Sheed, who was given a black eye by Sabonis earlier that month, loses it and throws a towel at Sabonis' face during a huddle and walks off. The towel incident was witnessed by TV commentator and Sabonis fanatic Bill Walton, who according to Grantland wanted to fight Sheed for his second towel throw of the season (he was suspended two months earlier for hitting a ref with a towel after an ejection).

Walton, who was broadcasting the game nationally, still feels remorse over the incident. “It was one of the lowest moments of my life,” he said. “If I was any kind of a man, I would have got up from that broadcast table and walked across the court and punched Rasheed Wallace in the nose. But I let Sabonis and the game of basketball and the human race down that day.”

What Walton didn't know is the human race almost lost Sheed that same day. According to Harvey, back in the lockeroom, a loud and furious Sheed was yelling and saying he was going to "fuck up" Sabonis, who Harvey also claims to be "built like a tree" with the "biggest head you will ever see." Sabonis calmly looks at Harvey and says, "I will kill him" in his best Ivan Drago voice. Harvey, realizing Sabonis is dead serious and fears his Jailblazers teammates wont be able to stop Sabonis from "choking the life" out of Sheed, starts yelling at the hot head with a spot on his head to shut up.

Sheed obviously survived the incident but was suspended for the final game of the season by the organization for "conduct detrimental to the success of the team." The media assumed it was just for the towel incident.

As fate would have it, Sheed was back on the court just in time to face Shaq and the Lakers in the first round of the playoffs. Three games and approximately ten Sabonis posters later, the Blazers season was done.

HOW GOOD WAS SABONIS?

As interesting as the question "What if Sabonis would have killed Rasheed Wallace in 2001" is, it's not as interesting as one of the biggest “What Ifs” in NBA history: What if Sabonis came to the NBA during his prime?

For over a decade, multiple NBA teams tried to get him: The Hawks drafted him in 1985 but the league voided the selection because he was under 21. A year later, the Trailblazers drafted the now 21-year old Sabonis with the 24th pick in the 1986 draft, but wasn’t able to put a jersey on him until almost a decade later (1995). Many people, including myself and Blazers' great Clyde Drexler, believes the Blazers would have won multiple NBA championships in the late 80s with a prime Sabonis.

In his first year in the league, as a 31-year old rookie with so many injuries the Blazers GM said "Sabonis could have qualified for a handicap parking spot based just on his X-Ray," Sabonis was runner-up for Rookie of the Year (over players like Joe Smith, Jerry Stackhouse, Kevin Garnett, Antonio McDyess and Rasheed Wallace) and the 6th Man of the Year award. He also became a fan-favorite in Portland during the Jailblazers era for seven seasons.

Although the future Hall of Famer was good for a double-double on any given night in the NBA, occasionally had dominant performances (21/20 against the Championship Bulls - video below) and probably was the best big man passer in the league, it was always a little disappointing to see him play so well as a shell of his former self because I knew most people would never consider him as one of the GOATs because he didn't get to dominate the Hakeems, David Robinsons and Patrick Ewings in the 80s and early 90s. Well, he did get to dominate David Robinson during the Olympics.

This wasn't as awkward as the time ESPN's Brian Windhorst appeared to fall asleep during a live TV conversation with Cari Champion, but it might funnier.

On a recent episode of The Jump with the Rachel Nichols, Windhorst - the man who seems to always know what LeBron is doing and will do - said LeBron stopped following him on Twitter, but still follows Nichols. He then joked that LeBron is "sliding into Rachel's DMs" which led to great reactions from everyone at the table: Vince pounded the table and  gave his cousin, T-Mac, an uncomfortable look; McGrady leaned back cracking up while holding his stomach; an offended Rachel immediately responded with, "that's not true and not something appropriate to say on television. Take that back please."

Windhorst took it back and then had to admit he doesn't even know what "slide into the DMs" means.

“This is because Brian doesn’t exactly know what that phrase means. Right?" Asked Nichols. "Am I correct in that?”

“I guess I don’t,” Windhorst replied. “Based on your reaction, I would say that I don’t.”

Although Nichols was smiling when the show went into a break, I'm sure she made Windhorst feel almost as bad as he felt when he realized LeBron unfollowed him.

Breaking and shocking news: DeMarcus Cousins doesn't agree with Coach George Karl.  I'm assuming you know that. And after the Kings destroyed the Mavs on Sunday, Cousins interrupted a postgame interview with new starter Seth Curry, fresh off of scoring 14 points, and said, "You going to be in this league a long time boy. Remember that, a long time!"

The comment by Boogie is most likely a reference to George Karl recently saying Curry is "going to be around for a couple of years. He's definitely going to have a few more years of someone; I think we have him for one more year."

Due to a bunch of Kings' injuries, Karl has given Curry 20+ minutes in the past two Kings games - both wins - and he's responded with 12 and 14 points. In the other 2 games of 20+ minutes in the past 2 months, Curry had 11 and 19 points.

"I think he's going to have a bright future, hard worker, never gets down on himself, he's a confident player." Said Boogie after Friday's win. "The biggest thing is he's a hard worker so I think he'll always have a spot in this league."

Rondo also had some positive things to say about Curry.

"Seth is a hard worker, hard work always pays off. He's definitely a ... shooter, he can pass the ball, he can do a lot of things. He had a couple tear drops that was nice tonight as well so sky's the limit for Seth. He's young and like I said, the way he works you never know what he can do."

We don't know for a fact that Matt Barnes ande John Henson got into a fight after the Grizzlies and Bucks game. We do know the mark on John Henson's face in the video above was not not there when he was ejected with 5.5 seconds left in the game. We also know Matt Barnes is one person you do not want to piss off - ask Derek Fisher.

Let's backup a little.

With a little less than 4 minutes left in the Bucks 96-86 victory, Henson was called for a tech and a flagrant foul 1 for  throwing Lance Stephenson to the ground.

As much as Stephenson probably wanted to punch Henson, he wisely walked away.

Then with 5.5 seconds left in the game, Henson had the block of the night on a Matt Barnes layup, the stare down of the week and the mean-muggin face of the year, which just put a bigger smile on Barnes face than the time Serge Ibaka tried to get tough with him.

The stripes rewarded the two with techs, which resulted in an automatic ejection for Henson. Seemingly not giving a damn, the still pumped up Henson celebrated on his way to the locker room by throwing his jersey into the crowd and waving his arms in the air.

"That's not the type of kid that John is," Memphis center Ryan Hollins said after the game. "He's a really great kid, a shot blocker. I thought he played great tonight. So maybe it was just those emotions coming out. That's not his personality. Hopefully, no one loses any money over something that silly."

After some discussion with the refs, Barnes left the game and ran down the same tunnel with 5.5 seconds still left in the game.

My imagination is telling me something like this might have happened....

And Henson probably pulled a Kobe thinking Matt Barnes wasn't really going to hit him.

I guess we will never really know what happened and it will be a mystery, just like the meaning of an "Ejection: No Ejection."

One of the most entertaining "brawls" in NBA history went down on this date back in 2013. I know I just called it a "brawl" even though it was really just a shoving match between Roy Hibbert and?Steph Curry doing a pretty awesome impersonation of Jeff Van Gundy.

The fun started midway through the fourth quarter after an upset David Lee pushed Hibbert?after a blown whistle. The 7'2' 280-pound Hibbert pushed Lee back, causing the 6'3' 180-pound Steph Curry to run over and grab Hibbert. Roy swung his arm and flicked Curry off like a bug on a?shoulder. Curry then did his best Jeff Van Gundy hanging on Alonzo Mourning impersonation before getting up and going for round two. Once again, he was pushed off like a kid who doesn't belong in a fight. Paul George then grabbed Curry and pulled him away before Hibbert actually realized who he was.

”Seriously, I didn’t even feel him,” Said Hibbert after the game.?”I saw some light-skinned guy. I don’t know if it was Klay Thompson or Steph Curry, I just knew there was a light-skinned guy by me.”

Not to get off-topic, but this quote reminded me of the hilarious story Kevin Durant told about?meeting this 10-year-old "white kid" named Stephen Curry at an AAU event.

Back to the "brawl," things eventually calmed down, the Pacers won despite a season-high 38 by Steph and David Stern handed out a few punishments: Hibbert and Lee were suspended one game without pay and Lance Stephenson and the two light skinned Warriors were fined $35,000 each for "escalating the altercation."

"My mom was a little upset," Hibbert told the Indiana Star. "She said I should have walked away. It's unfortunate it happened. I watched the video and I saw there was a little kid that ran up out of his seat when all that happened."

When Hibbert watched the video, he also finally realized which light-skinned guy was hanging on his leg during the altercation.

On September 25th of 2000, Paul Pierce was stabbed in the face, neck and back 11 times while in a pool room of a nightclub. The attackers were reportedly associated with the very forgettable Boston rap group Made Men.

15 years later, the founding member of Made Men, Benzino, is now a "reality star" on forgettable shows like 'Marriage Boot Camp' and the living legend that is Paul Pierce is now playing for the Clippers. And on Wednesday night, as the Clippers visited Boston in what may be The Truth's final game in Boston, Pierce's teammates honored him by reenacting his stabbing during the pregame introduction - Blake Griffin was not present to participate in the beating of his teammate.

Unfortunately for the Clips, finally All-Star guard Isaiah Thomas was there to deliver multiple daggers, score 36 points and dish out 11 assists in a 139-134 OT win.

Pierce finished the game with 6 points and 3 rebounds in 22 minutes.

Dallas Mavs rookie Salah Mejri scored 1 bucket during the Mavs blowout loss to the Spurs on Friday. The bucket came on a dunk in the 2nd quarter, when the Mavs were ONLY losing by 23.  The rookie was so impressed by his only bucket in 14 minute of play that he actually had the nerve to talk trash to Coach Popovich.

Pop just laughed at the rookie and then shared a laugh with Duncan about the 7'2 center.

After the game, Pop had a classic response when asked what Mejri said to him.

"Who," Popovich replied. "I have no idea. It was pretty funny though."

The King of NBA Impersonations has built a large almost cult-like fan base over the past few months with his hilarious and dead-on impressions of past and present NBA players. It looks like the Kings organization are among those fans because they asked BdotAdot5 to do his best impression of their beloved White Chocolate - Jason Williams.

As expected, Bdot delivered by showing the flashy dimes, dribbles and sometimes unnecessary extra mustard by the man who used to hit teammates (namely Vlade Divac) in the face with his passes.

On May 7th 1989, Game 5 between the Chicago Bulls and Cleveland Cavaliers, the greatest basketball player of all-time hit the first "big" clutch shot of his career. ?That shot would go down in history as simply "The Shot."

I'm assuming every person in the building remembers that day and probably says "I was there" at least once a year when someone brings up Jordan or the shot.

Now imagine you are a reporter at the game. You are not only there, but you are on the court with Michael Jordan seconds after "The Shot." You put the mic in his face and have a shot at getting the first words out of Jordan and all you can say is, "Michael you stuck it" and "yeah." Then you get pushed out of the way by another reporter who got to conduct "The Interview" after "The Shot."

That's what happened to this guy. Hopefully he got another shot like this one but shots like this only come once in a lifetime -- even for greats like Michael Jordan.

Look no further than the free agent signings today - $145 million here, $90 million there, $20 million for who - to understand why many players lose the concept of the value of money and spend cash as if they have an endless stack of winning lottery tickets.  And it's not the cars, the houses, the bad investments, the side chicks that makes the average person shake their heads at the players spending habits, it's stories like the ones Giannis Antetokounmpo hilariously tells a reporter in this video that does.

Before I get into his stories, you have to understand why they are so shocking to Giannis too. In a Grantland article about the Greek Freak, it said Giannis once pulled a pair of discarded shoes by Caron Butler out of the trash and said "What are you doing? These good shoes!’”  This is the same Giannis who Brandon Knight said would carry 6 or 7 boxes of free food from the player's lounge to his home to save money.  You might call that being cheap. I call it being smart and not being wasteful. And when I call him 10 years from now, I wont be calling him broke.

In this interview, when asked "what was the craziest thing you have seen a teammate do with his money," Giannis replied that Caron Butler once gave him $500 to buy a pack of gum and some Mountain Dew! I have a feeling it wasn't a 12 pack of Dew either, so the total bill couldn't have been more than $3.

Giannis said he's also seen teammates buy a PS4 at every away game and then leave it at the hotel! I'm assuming those teammates aren't bringing games with them, so they are probably spending $400-500 at each stop just to basically rent a console for a night or two.

Now, I'm not saying any of his mentioned teammates, or their great, great grand kids, will ever be broke, but it's this type of spending mentality that leads to financial problems and why people who have to wait till Christmas to make a $500 purchase are shaking their heads and not shedding a tear when they hear an Antoine Walker story.

As for Giannis, who once asked Zaza if there's any way he doesn't have to give up half of his check to Uncle Sam, I'll gladly listen to any story from him.

Games 1 and 5 of the Warriors and Rockets series ended the same way - with a scene stealing performance by Riley Curry.  Steph's adorable 2 year old daughter made her return to the podium after the Warriors eliminated the Rockets on Wednesday night and once again was the focus of the Q&A which probably annoyed ESPN's Brian Windhorst and Skip Bayless who were both silent on Twitter about the topic last night.

"I think she's taking advantage of the moment for sure. She's way too comfortable" said Curry about his daughter.

She also got a head start on generating "aaaaaahhhhs" when she did her Dad's trademark chest tap and point to the sky celebration after the game and before the conference.

Although Daddy Curry was off on his shot, missing 14 of 21 shots and 8 of 11 3s, he still had 26 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals in the 14 point victory.

RILEY VS LEBRON PT2

Most people probably don't remember this, but the first time we talked about Riley was 2 years ago during the 2013 NBA Finals. After a horrible first half by LeBron vs the Spurs in GM3, Curry mocked James by posting a vine clip of his then 1 year old daughter dunking and then said she has half as many points as LeBron.  I have a pretty good feeling LeBron wont be having too many 4 point halves vs Curry and the Warriors next month and I also have a feeling we will be seeing Riley at another postgame conference in the near future too.

Andre Iguodala had the dunk of game 2 when he threw down over Dwight Howard and made an excited Steph Curry almost run to the other end of the court in celebration. ?For an encore, Iggy trolled the Rockets by waiting for the defense to cross half court before throwing down a wide-open dunk.

This reminds me of an actual fight I once saw when a friend of mine was playing Madden 97 (yes this story takes place during the MJ era) against a hot head. My friend waited for the other player to get near him before scoring a touchdown and then it got ugly. ?Thankfully no punches were thrown after this moment, although i'm sure the 35 point loss felt like a punch to the gut to Rockets' fans.

Due to a wrist injury, Rockets' captain Patrick Beverly hasn't been doing the pre-game handshakes and from the looks of Steph Curry's reaction, the Warriors Captain felt a little disrespected by the Rockets sending seldom-used Nick Johnson as his replacement.

After the two player shook hands, Curry took a few steps, turned back around in disbelief and then shook his head at one of our favorite players in the league (he played in our first Ballislife All-American game!).

Curry then had all of us shaking our heads as he hit one ridiculous shot after another on his way to 34 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists in GM1.

As for Nick, he was a DNP but we still love him.

I don't know what's more ridiculous: Charles Barkley saying he's not going to eat another meal until the Lakers win a game or porn star Sadie Santana saying she will "please" the entire Lakers' roster if they can win 47 games? I think her mouth is safe but Charles Barkley's mouth is going to have to eat his words because there's no chance the weight watcher model is going to go more than a few hours without putting something in his mouth.

The Lakers are 0-5 right now and basically a one-man show, but who's complaining? Magic Johnson isn't.
