]]>Jordan vs Nique! Zach LaVine vs Aaron Gordon! There have been some great dunk contest duels in the past but none can compete with the greatest dunker of all-time (Vince Carter) going against...The Truth (Paul Pierce)?! OK, I'm obviously kidding and that statement couldn't be any further from the truth. But, in 1995, those two NBA greats -- now pushing 40 -- did face off against each other during the McDonalds All-American dunk contest.
You are probably trying to picture Pierce -- not known for having hops, despite having a few nice posters throughout his near two decades in the NBA -- competing against vintage Vinsanity in the 2000 dunk contest, where Carter introduced the off two-feet-between-the-legs dunk, the 360 windmill and the elbow hang (Honey Dip) to the masses. If they faced off at that event, Pierce probably would have looked worse than Jerry Stackhouse, who drew the shortest straw and had the pleasure of going after Vince in the epic contest.
Lucky for Pierce, Vince didn't pull out anything too spectacular to win this contest in front of Pierce's future Celtics teammate Kevin Garnett and KG's future Wolves' teammate Stephon Marbury. But, in the mid-90s, when a simple between the legs dunk was an automatic 50, those Carter dunks -- especially his power windmills -- were probably still good enough to beat a few champs like Baby Jordan, JR Rider and definitely Kobe Bryant (Darvin Ham was robbed) in a NBA dunk contest.
If you have any doubts about Vince being the best high school dunker ever, keep in mind in a 1999 interview by Kenny Smith, Vince was asked if his dunks were better now or better then and he replied: "better then!"
Here's a few of those "better then" dunks from his prep days and believe me (I've been following his basketball career since his sophomore year), these dunks don't do him justice. He was so crazy in high school, people in Daytona Beach were selling a Vince Carter highlight tape on VHS called Come Fly With Me Part 2!

]]>The post 2015 #EastbayFunkDunk Contest Feat. 8 Of The Worlds Best Dunkers [FULL CONTEST] appeared first on www.ebooksnet.com.
]]>TEAM1 (winning team): Guy Dupuy, Kenny Dobbs, Porter Maberry, Michael Purdie
TEAM2: Jonathan Clark, Sir Issac, Rafal Lipinski, Justin Darlington
The first between the legs dunk in a NBA contest was done by Orlando Woolridge in 1984: He went baseline, wrapped the ball around his back and then between his legs and dunked. The dunk was rewarded with a score of 48 but quickly forgotten.
1 year later, a high-flying 14 year old from the bay did the dunk but with a lot more height and power in high school. A couple years later, that same kid had Dick Vitale jumping out of his chair when he did it during the NCAA dunk contest. Months later, the confident NCAA dunk champ said on draft night that if he gets into the 1994 NBA dunk contest he's winning it. He did get in it and he did win it. He also did his trademark dunk which had Dominque Wilkens comparing the rookie to himself and Charles Barkley saying "it might have been the best dunk he ever saw." The dunker was Isaiah "JR" Rider and his version of the between the legs dunk was called the "Eastbay Funk Dunk."
Since then we have seen many players - from Kobe to Vince Carter to Jason Richardson - win the NBA dunk contest with improved variations of the dunk: Off 2 feet, Reverse, With 2 Hands, Over a person. Then the evolution of the Eastbay was taken to new heights when a generation of pro dunkers made a name for themselves on YouTube and across social media by doing variations of the dunk that fans of the dunk and aerial artists like Rider never imagined was possible.
On October 24th 2014, Eastbay celebrated these dunkers and the evolution of the Eastbay Funk Dunk by hosting the first Eastbay Funk Dunk contest.
8 of the world's best dunkers - from Canada to France to Poland - gathered at The Halloween Classic Tournament at the American Sports Center in Anaheim, California to participate in a the event. An event that remixed the format and rules of
the traditional contest to make dunk contests feel fresh again. The biggest change was having the 8 players split up into teams of 2. Then those 2 teams had to go through 3 unique rounds: A freestyle round, a D.U.N.K round (the dunking version of H.O.R.S.E) and a Eastbay Evolution round judged by none other than the Eastbay Funk Dunk inventor Isaiah Rider.
In Round 1, Team 1, made up of Michael Purdie, Guy Dupuy, Kenny Dobbs and Porter Maberry, became the crowd and favorite of the judges - Rider, streetball legend The Professor and NBA2KTV host Rachel DeMita - with a set of creative dunks highlighted by 5'5 Maberry jumping over one of his teammates.
In Round 2, Team 2, made up Sir Issac, Lipek, Justin Darlington and Jonathan Clark won the round with a bunch of dunks never seen in a NBA contest including a reverse split dunk and handstand dunk by Olympic hopeful Jonathan Clark.

In the final round, Team 1 pulled off a pair of Eastbay dunks over a bunch of kids while Team 2 missed a 360 Eastbay over a bunch of people - which might have been enough to top Team 1 if they were able to pull it off.

All 4 winners on the winning team won $2,500 each and the judges favorite on the losing team (Sir Issac) was also given a $2,500 prize. The remaining 3 players each won $750 for their participation. As a bonus, Eastbay also gave every participant a pair of Yeezy 350s which sells for a "few dollars."
Aside from a great show, the fans were able to get autographs and take pictures with the players and celebrity judges.
It was a great event which just like the Eastbay Funk Dunk in 1994, will only get better and more spectacular as the evolution of the dunk and the dunkers that do them continue to push the limits of dunking.

]]>It was almost a year ago when Jordan Kilganon threw down the "Scorpion Dunk" and I said it might be years until we see a better dunk. Then he topped it a couple of weeks later by going between the legs before doing the Scorpion dunk. I then said "I'm done but I have a feeling Jordan isn't..."
Well,?Jordan just added another chapter in the book of the evolution of the Eastbay dunk by adding a behind the back twist to it. ?As if it really makes a difference, I failed to mention he also jumped over a person.
I would say I have nothing else to say, but this is probably the perfect time for me to bring up the Eastbay Dunk Contest going down later this month. The dunk contest will feature 8 of the best dunkers in the world and will include an "evolution of the Eastbay Funk Dunk" round where the contestants will throw down the best between the leg dunk variations they can. I can't wait to see if anybody will be able to challenge this dunk by Jordan.

]]>The post Remembering When Vince Carter became a Rucker Park legend by shutting down Gauchos Gym appeared first on www.ebooksnet.com.
]]>Vinsanity was spreading like a wildfire after Vince Carter's spectacular rookie season -- which was only 50 games because of the NBA lock-out. Not since Shaq entered the league in 1992, did we have a first year player dominate the nightly highlights shows with so many memorable dunks. But Shaq's most memorable dunks in 92 involved him going through defenders and taking the rim down to the ground, while Vince's most memorable dunks involved him getting up way, way, above his defenders and the rim.
During the summer of 1999, Vinsanity hit New York the same day a severe thunderstorm did. A storm so bad that the EBC had to move it's Rucker Park game indoors to the Gauchos Gym. Standing in the rain to go into a gym that's over 100 degrees with 2,000 other people doesn't sound that appealing, but you wouldn't have found a person in the crowd that day who would have said they regret going.
Alejandro Danois of Triangle Offense posted an article about this famous day in Rucker history called "Rucker Park Diaries: Vince Carter's Rain Delayed Debut."
So the rumors of his Rucker Park debut echoed throughout the city’s entire summer basketball community. The Vacant Lots team was undefeated that summer, headlined by Charles Jones, who’d led the nation in scoring for two consecutive years at Long Island University. They opened the game by scoring ten consecutive points and despite the standing-room-only crowd, the mood was relatively subdued because Vince Carter was nowhere in sight.
But two words would bring the drenched fans to their feet in unison: “Heeeeeeeee’s Heeeeeeere!”
With that utterance, the crowd became instantly frenzied as Carter came jogging through the locker room doors attired in a white and brown Black Hand uniform. He waved at the crowd, which included Jay Z and his fellow NBA brethren Ron Artest and Stephon Marbury, and ran directly to the scorer’s table.
More concerned with fitting in than taking over during the early stages of the game, Carter did nothing to distinguish himself in the first half. But at the beginning of the second half, he alerted air traffic control that he was ready for takeoff. His first bucket came with under nine minutes left in third quarter, when he grabbed an offensive rebound and elevated for a two-handed dunk in the paint. Within a matter of seconds, he drained back-to-back three-pointers from way beyond the arc.
Journalist Vincent Mallozi, a veteran playground hoops aficionado and avid fan of the New York City summer asphalt scene, was in the Gauchos Gym that night. As Air Canada began warming up, this is what he wrote for the Village Voice:
“With 6:28 left in the third, Air Canada broke into the open court, slipped past one defender with a right-to-left, behind-the-back dribble, whipped a behind-the-back pass to a trailing Prime Objective (the Washington, D.C. playground phenom whose real name is Lonnie Harrell), pointed north, and as an alley-oop pass came falling out of the sky, turned his body 180 degrees in midair so that he was facing the opposite basket, caught the rock, and threw it down with a force that literally shook the Rucker faithful out onto the floor in celebration.
Shortly after order was restored, Air Canada took off again. With 54 seconds left in the third, he rose to catch another alley-oop pass with his right hand along the left baseline about five feet from the rim, and, still airborne, slammed windmill-style over the outstretched fingertips of two opponents. It was perhaps the greatest dunk in the history of Rucker.”
At this time, I was running the most popular Vince Carter fansite on the web (GotVinsanity.com) and when I heard about this game, I had to have a copy of it so I could share it with the rest of the world. Lucky for me, the EBC was selling VHS copies on Ebay and it remains one of my favorite Vince Carter collectibles.
Here's some of the best highlights from the game, which includes the famous windmill alley-oop dunk and him and teenage Adrian Walton aka Whole Lotta Game going at.
The famous windmill dunk was even recreated in an awesome 2002 Nike commercial featuring Vince Carter at Rucker Park called "Dr Funk." The Roswell Rayguns campaign also featured Baron Davis, Jerry Stackhouse, Jermaine O'Neal and Paul Pierce,
If you want to know more about Walton -- who Fat Joe believed should have been in the NBA -- you can check out this episode of Heart Of The City featuring Walton and God Shammgod.

]]>The post Shawn Kemp's most infamous post dunk celebrations | No taunting techs in the 90s appeared first on www.ebooksnet.com.
]]>Nowadays, an overzealous celebration or a simple stare at a defender who just got dunked on is enough to warrant a tech. Back in the early 90s, you could celebrate however you wanted -- with your teammates, towards the fans and even the opposing team -- and the refs wouldn't blow the whistle. No player took advantage of this liberty more than Shawn Kemp. Not even a young Shaq, with his rim-hanging and kung-fu doing antics, competed with the Reign Man when it came to excessive (but oh so awesome) celebrations.
For an example, let's go back to Game 5 of the 1993 WCSF, when high-flying Robert Horry had the assignment of guarding the higher-flying Kemp. Kemp had three monster dunks in the game and celebrated each with a memorable motion that would surely get any player 20-years later a tech without hesitation from the refs.
Dunk 1: Horry tried to take a charge and ended up on a poster by Kemp. I mean he literally was made into a poster. This dunk has become one of the most popular Kemp dunk pics ever and the scream that Kemp does afterward has been put on sportscards and t-shirts. I even had the pleasure of bringing this dunk up during a dinner with Horry and Kemp.
Dunk 2: After a turnover by current coach Scotty Brooks, former NBA coach Nate McMillan passes to a running Kemp, who gets the and-1 dunk and celebrates by waving his arms back and forth in an odd mechanical way that represented many of Kemp's mannerisms. This is the one celebration that I don't think would be called today.
Dunk 3: Kemp gets an offensive rebound, goes straight up with a reverse dunk and celebrates by hanging on the rim with one hand while grabbing "deez nuts (this happened months after the release of Dr Dre Chronic album, which had people everywhere saying this phrase)." Kemp added the testicle grab to his celebration repertoire a year earlier, but after this instance, he must have received a warning from Stern because I can't recall another instance from Kemp.
I remember Shawn Kemp receiving a few fines throughout his career but never one for taunting a defender, then again, Kemp has to be the only player to ever get (a well deserved) dap from a defender after dunking on them. You can check out that dunk along with some other great and disrespectful dunks from Kemp in the following videos.

]]>The post Jordan Calls It The "Lost & Found" Dunk, You Might Call It The Best Dunk Ever appeared first on www.ebooksnet.com.
]]>Give me a break. So yesterday morning I posted a post about Jordan Kilganon's ridiculous reverse dunk over a car from the recent Gothenburg Basketball Festival Dunk Contest in Sweden. I called it the "Dunk of the Day" and not only did it not turn out to be the dunk of the day but it didn't even turn out to be the best dunk of Jordan that day.
Later that afternoon, Jordan released what he considers his best dunk ever - The "Lost and Found." What makes this dunk so special, besides the fact that it seems impossible to do even with an infinite amount of attempts, is it's something nobody (that I know of) has ever even hinted at. We talk about wish list dunks like the double between the legs and 2K type stuff but here's a true original dunk. A dunk that got props from some other high flying originators like The Air Up There aka Mr 720 "I respect those who aim for greatness.
The originality and imagination this kid has is amazing. Strive to be diffrent. ?#?outsidethebox?"
Do I think it's the best dunk ever? No. It doesn't even make my top 20 but that's because of the shock and awe that came from easier to do dunks I've seen in the past before seeing this. For example, I watched Jr Rider win the college dunk contest with a basic between the legs dunk.
Guys like Jordan can do variations of that dunk in their sleep but the shock that came in 1993 watching Rider easily tops this dunk and any other dunk I've seen in the past couple of years. Now, do I think Jordan's dunk might be the most difficult dunk to execute? If it isn't, I'm sure it's in the top 3 and I doubt I'll ever have the pleasure of seeing someone pull it off in a dunk contest. But I said the same thing about Jordan's Scorpion Dunk and he's pulled off variations of it in multiple dunk contests.

Nothing against 5'8 freak of nature Justin Collins but getting dunked on by somebody an inch taller than Spud Webb might lead to your face being on the bottom half of a viral video.
According to Dunk World's YouTube description, Collins has only been dunking for a few months. That's just salt on a wound of a 6 footer still hoping to dunk one day.

]]>The Annual NIKE 3on3 Dunk contest took place earlier today right across the street from the Staples Center at LA Live. The contest featured the likes of Chris Staples, Michael "Airdogg" Stewart, Jonathan Clark & Michael Purdie. Airdogg has been itching for a dunk contest victory for the last month and a half and finally came out the victor as Staples was not able to make a dunk his first dunk in the final round. Do keep in mind, that dunk was a double up (under the legs over a person) over a motorcycle. Had he made this dunk, the contest would have been much more difficult to decide the victor. Congrats to Airdogg and the victory, I'm gonna still need my cut for my suggestions!!
Peep the top misses of the contest below. Jonathan Clark came PRETTY close to hitting a double eastbay in warmups. This is a dunk that people from Air Up There to G-Smith have been trying for years. G-Smith has told us that he once backrimmed an attempt....however whenever we were filming, he could barely touch the rim. This was definitely the closest I have witnessed someone getting to completing the dunk. Also in the misses are a 360 eastbay opposite way, 360 behind the back, 360 under both legs and of course the double up over the motorcycle. Enjoy!

]]>It's hard to look cool after getting posterized, but there's things you can or can't do that will get you some redemption points. ?But this also depends on where the dunk happened.
For examples, if you are dunked on at Rucker Park or in some streetball game, then there's a good chance they are going to stop the game and clown you and might even make you leave the court so there's nothing you can do to come out looking cool. ? If you are dunked on in an "organized" game, then there's a good chance you can just walk away and if the player tries to get in your face about it, then he will probably get hit with a tech.
This morning I saw this dunk (above) by Dominique Lee that left a defender on the ground. ?Instead of getting up, he just sat there like a Prozac user contemplating suicide. ?That is how NOT to look after getting dunked on!
Now let's take a look at this guy that was dunked on by Ballup player G-Smith (who seems to posterize somebody every week). ?This IS how to look cool after getting dunked on...or about as cool as you can look after getting dunked on!
Hmmmm, this is kind of fun. I might have to make a list of my favorite post dunk reactions starting off with this one.

]]>The week before Allen Iverson made his NBA retirement official, he was playing overseas in the awesome annual LA Lights Streetball event that takes place in Jakarta, Indonesia. The international event usually includes many of the most popular and exciting American streetballers and dunkers, like The Professor, Air Up There, Hot Sauce, Guy Dupuy, T-Dub and Werm, and this year, the Ballup Streetball organization sent over a bunch of exciting fresh faces including Jessie "Spin Cycle" LeBeau, Chris "HoopStar" Staples, Sir Issac and Young Hollywood to play along side one very famous familiar face - Allen Iverson.
Iverson, playing with a towel on his head, took it easy on the competition and let his high flying teammates do most of the damage. Spin Cycle was breaking ankles and toying with defenders the way AI used to while Hollywood, Isaac and Staples did their damage playing way above the rim.
We caught up with one of those high flyers, Chris Staples, and talked about Iverson and his exciting trip to Indonesia.
Rank the following: Doing an event with Iverson. Dunking in front of thousands of people in another country. Meeting Rosario Dawson (with a Ballislife T on!).
Doing an interview press conference is #1 of course, dunking infront of the fans of Indonesia is next . But meeting and talking with Rosario Dawson is right up there
How did it feel doing a press conference with Allen Iverson?
It was an honor to be doing an actual real life press conference with A.I. I grew up watching him and wearing his shoes, or even wearing a sleeve like him. He's a future hall of famer and I know that was a once in a lifetime moment.
Was Iverson different than you expected?
Iverson was much cooler than I expected. The media always posts his crazy interviews that make him out to be extra arrogant, but he was real laid back and down to earth. He had jokes for days and we all had a good time.
In terms of the crowd energy and general atmosphere, is their difference between performing in the US compared to other countries like Indonesia.
I'm used to playing amongst BIG crowds. But this crowd energy was off the charts words can't explain. There was a BIG BIG difference in Jakarta, energy compared to recent events that I've been to in the U.S. Not to bash anyone, but I think America is spolied because they actually get to see us live all the time, whereas foreigners only can resort to YouTube. So to actually see it in person is a treat to them. And they most certainly showed their appreciation. It felt really good to see and hear the energy of the crowd. They were honored to have me there, but I felt more honored to be able to perform in front of them.
Do you think you, Sir Issac and Young Hollywood could take on the 3 best NBA dunkers in a fairly judged dunk contest?
I think, me, Sir Isaac and Young Hollywood could all definitely compete with ANY dunker in the NBA today.
What's next for Staples?
The next thing on the agenda is more than likely a trip to China within the next few days. Then I'm going out to the West coast to perform again.
Be on the lookout for a lot more from Staples. The Harlem Globetrotter blew up on the dunking scene this past year with exceptional performances in the Sprite Uncontainable Game, Showdown contest and the BET Awards exhibition.
As for Allen Iverson...he may be retired from the NBA but I don't expect this to be my last post about him.

Trew supposedly had the flu and a messed up ankle in this Dunkademics video but his hops looked pretty good as he played the part of Shawn Kemp to The Game's Gary Payton.

]]>Earl Manigault, Jackie Jackson, Herman Knowlings, Connie Hawkins, Joe Hammond, Pee Wee Kirkland, David Lee! ?Maybe Golden State Warrior David Lee doesn't belong on the Rucker Park Hall of Fame list but he and teammate Kent Bazemore recently played at the famous court in ?Harlem and put on a mini dunk clinic to the surprise of many in attendance.
To the heckling crowd that didn't know about David Lee's "hops" they must not remember his dunk on Gerald Wallace (below) while he was playing for the Knicks or him beating ex Knick James White in the 2001 McDonalds High School Dunk contest. ?Now I'm not saying he's a better dunker than James because he won the Mickey D contest because by the rationale Candace Parker is a better dunker than JR and Josh Smith but I am saying the Billy Hoyle of Rucker Park can and will dunk.
The only thing that would of made this video better is if Kent Bazemore would have done?one of his classic celebrations after a Lee dunk but he was busy creating his own highlights in the game as if he was still dominating the NBA Summer League.

]]>With all of the hoopla around Michael Jordan dunking at his Flight School Camp at 50 ?years old, the NBA released extended footage from the DR J documentary showing Julius Erving dunking at 63 years young. ?Dr J barely got it in, which I'm sure will be pointed out by some youngsters, but let's see how well they can get up when they are in their 60s - yes I'm still talking about basketball.

]]>Do you remember when you were going through puberty, didn't have a drivers license, didn't know the first thing about Algebra but you knew how to throw down a windmill dunk? OK, you probably can't relate to the last part but for 6'3" 7th grader William Dillard at the CP3 Rising Stars National Event in North Carolina, throwing down contest dunks is easier than geometry.
Considering Michael Jordan didn't dunk until he was in 9th grade (he was only 5'8") the sky is the limit for William...literally.
Check out a few quotes from Jordan, Vince Carter and other NBA players on losing their dunk virginity.
I can never stop working hard each day. I feel I have to improve. Hard work, determination…I’ve got to keep pushing myself. I remember when I was five years old…dunking in trash cans on my knees, waiting for that day I would be able to really do it. And then one day, it happened.I was in the ninth grade. It was a Junior Varsity game and I was only 5’8″. And in practice I had never been able to get up that high. But the adrenaline was pumping, and I just took off. It all happened so fast. I wasn’t quite sure what I’d done, but you know I just really love that feeling.
-Michael Jordan
My first dunk was … in ninth grade. And I have it on tape.
The rims we were going at in the second half were lower than the ones in the first. So I knew if I got a breakaway in the second half that I was going to try it. And that’s where I got my first dunk. I think it was a 9 ?-foot rim, though. The whole team went nuts. It was a freshman game and if you could dunk, you should at least be playing JV, maybe Varsity.
-Drew Gooden
My first dunk was when I was like 16. It was the 10th grade, just before the 11th grade. So I was a late bloomer. I’m pretty sure that of everyone I know that dunks pretty good, I was always the last person to start.
-DeMar DeRozan
My first dunk was actually in sixth grade.
-Vince Carter
I was 14 years old and I dunked a volleyball because that was the only ball I could palm, in the gym, right before practice. My first dunk in a game came when I was 15 on a dish pass from my best friend. I came down the middle and I dunked it and when that happened I could hardly believe it.
-Paul Pierce
I was 12-years-old and 5-foot-11 for my first dunk. As far as the dunk over Tim Duncan, you can say that is the highlight of my pro career so far. I watched him alot on film and to be able to get one down on a player of his caliber is a great accomplishment. I hope I can do it again!
-LaMarcus Aldridge
My first dunk ever. Oh, I remember, because the coach had been trying for weeks to get me to dunk the ball. I had never seen anyone do it. I didn’t really think it was possible, the coordination of the jump and holding the ball. Then everything he was trying to tell me came together in that one moment. Everyone was shocked. The coach said, ‘Do it again.’ So I did. And I did it again and again and again. I guess it changed my life.
-Hakeem Olajuwon
What is your favorite childhood basketball memory? My first dunk. It was in practice in seventh grade. Being able to dunk surprised me. I kept trying and I finally got it. It was something that I’ll never forget … because I can’t do it that much anymore.

]]>Jusfly was the 2012 champion as he beat out 2011 champion Kenny Dobbs. This time it was Jusfly's turn to try and reign as champion 2 years in a row vs the likes of Werm, Young Hollywood and Golden Child. Golden Child got hurt in warm ups but the remaining 3 guys put on quite a show for the crowd.
In the end Young Hollywood, previously seen all over ESPN with his double up over Blake Griffin, was not able to hit his go to double up over 6'11 Ryan Hollins and Jusfly was not able to complete a dunk in time in the finals vs Werm.
Congrats to Werm on being the 2013 Nike 3on3 Slam Dunk Champ! Werm's been having a pretty good year so far. In June, he won the BET Sprite Dunk Experience contest at the BET Awards and the Washington DC Sprite Slam Dunk Showdown. He was also one of the stars of the Sprite Uncontainable Game that took place at NBA All-Star weekend.

]]>Despite seeing a pretty impressive list of white dunkers over the past couple of years, most people still say "White Men Can't Jump" is a true general statement. Now when it comes to Asians, we don't know of any "Asian dunkers" and people are shocked when they see 6'3" Jeremy Lin throwdown a 1 hand dunk. So when I came across this video of 6'1" teenage Sherman Su, I had to share it.

]]>Blake Griffin was at the Santa Monica Place Central Courtyard Saturday night to promote the new Super Fly 2 sneakers, Blake App and Lift Off campaign for Jordan Brand but it was 5'10" Haneef "Young Hollywood" Munir that stole the show when he made a between the legs dunk over the 6'10" Blake Griffin.
We have seen, in person, Young Hollywood put on some crazy performances such as winning the Sprite Showdown Finals at All-Star weekend in LA in front of LeBron James or when he jumped over a mascot and pulled off the same dunk without stretching or any warm up dunks during a Nuggets half-time show but jumping over the foot taller Blake might go down as the best contest dunk of the year.
Blake did get a preview of Young Hollywood late last year when he won the Red Bull Dunk Contest in front of Griffin.
(Look at that smiling idiot behind LeBron between the 3-7 second mark)
