"On May 13th of 2018 (approximately 5:28 PM EST), LeBron was called for his first career travel."
That's what one Twitter user said after the refs called LeBron for travelling in the fourth quarter of the Cavs blowout loss to the Celtics in Game 1. What I find so funny about the surprising call -- besides LeBron disagreeing with it and ESPN cutting to a fan mocking James -- is the call was made when the Cavs were down by 19. Talk about pouring salt on a wound.
Here's a few other tweets from fans (and Shea Serrano, author of the awesome book 'Basketball And Other Things') who felt like they just witnessed something that they probably wont get to see happen again. Following the tweets is a great compilation video of LeBron getting away with travels. Enjoy!

Was nodding off and heard “LeBron called for traveling” I woke up as startled as if my wife said “there’s a unicorn walking around our back yard.” I had to rewind and watch it 3 times just to believe it was real.

That's the first travel call on LeBron James since 2003.
