On Episode 135 of the Ballislife In The Paint Show, hosts Ronnie Flores and Ani Umana go hard in the paint on the recent grassroots events they attended (NBPA Top 100 Camp, FCP All-West Camp) and the live scholastic event (TABC Showcase).
Ron and Ani break down each event's top performers and stock-risers, including names such as G.G. Jackson (NBPA Top 100 Camp MOP) and Baye Fall, a standout at both the Pangos and NBPA Camps. Ani reveals his top performers and NBPA Top 100 Camp player rankings. Ani also gives an update on Bronny James, who doesn't play often in individual grassroots events, and where he stands among the national Class of 2023.
Ani also talks TABC Showcase and fast-rising prospects who stood out in Texas' live scholastic period event while Ron also breaks down some of his top performers from the FullCourt Press All-West Camp which took place in SoCal during the dead period, July 1-2. Jared McCain of Centennial (Corona, Calif.) was a standout at the NBPA Top 100 camp and his high school teammate, Eric Freeny, was an All-West Camp standout.
Ron dishes on more sleepers and 2025 prospects who made a name for themselves at All-West, while Ani gives his quick take on the 2022 NBA Draft and plans for the upcoming July grassroots live periods.
