That player is Class of 2018 standout Romeo Langford, who made clutch plays and effortlessly scored to lead his EG10 club to a 79-75 victory over Just Win Academy. Langford, who attends New Albany (Ind.) High School, gave his team the lead for good when he converted a lay-up with 46 seconds remaining in the game. Langford makes things look easy offensively and is usually reserved on the court, but after that play he  let his emotions shine through to the delight of his teammates. Langford also hit two big free throws with 25 seconds remaining and also hauled in a rebound as time expired.

The 6-foot-6 shooting guard who already fields offers from college basketball heavyweights such as Duke, Kentucky and Kansas dominated from start to finish. Langford scored 10 points in the first five minutes, had 25 points by halftime and finished with an even "40 piece". He made 12-of-19 field goals, including five 3-pointers, 11-of-13 free throws en route to his 40 points and added eight rebounds.

Championship bracket play began in the three major tournaments (the Las Vegas Classic at Spring Valley High School and the Las Vegas Fab 48 at Bishop Gorman High School being the other two), so we expect the play to pick up in the win-or-go-home situations. Seven years later and Kevin Garnett's three screamed words -- ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE! -- still ranks up there as three of the most memorable words ever said in an NBA championship post-game interview. For me, it's right behind Jordan saying, "this is for Daddy" after winning the 96 NBA Finals on Father's Day.

As cool as KG's yell sounded to most fans, some people at Adidas reportedly didn't care for the famous quote. Some (I'm not one of them), believed Kevin Garnett was trying to promote the shoe company and ended up screwing up the "Impossible is Nothing" slogan; "Anything is possible" just happens to be the slogan of Chinese sneaker company Li-Ning. What makes the story even more amusing is KG would eventually leave Adidas and join a Chinese sneaker company: Li-Ning competitor Anta.

Obviously, Adidas reps said they had no idea what KG was going to say after winning his first and only Championship and nothing was planned.

"If we were going to do anything with him, we would have definitely made sure the messaging was correct," said Adidas basketball spokesman Travis Gonzolez to The Oregonian.

Do I believe them? Well, anything is possible I guess.

Here’s the official 2015 Adidas Eurocamp USA recap.

Kobi Simmons(6-5 guard out of St. Francis High School in Atlanta, GA) and Deron Davis( 6-9 forward out of Denver, Colorado) have their memories of last year’s Adidas Eurocamp; the inaugural U.S Select team was comprised of some of America’s top high school talent, playing together against various European national teams.  Names like Dennis Smith Jr., Thon Maker, Jaylen Brown, and Brandon Ingram graced the court for the Americans, only to go 0-3 and lose by an average of almost 26 points per game. This time around, Simmons and Davis were determined to change that outcome and change history while at it.

The questions lingered about the team and how they would do coming out into this year’s tournament. Coached by Kinston, NC native and former NBA player Jerry Stackhouse, the team came out early and answered everyone’s questions. Joining Simmons & Davis this year was a bevy of talent from across the country including Edrice Adebayo (NC), Frank Jackson (UT), Rawle Alkins (NY), Mustapha Heron (CT), Braxton Blackwell (TN), TJ Leaf (CA), Mario Kegler (FL), Josh Langford (AL), and Dewan Huell (FL).

Their first test was the France 20U national team. Coming into this matchup, many questioned whether this team would play together as a unit. A majority of the ball was placed in Jaylen Brown’s hands last year as he was looked as the “go to” guy. Another adjustment faced was if they were able to avoid playing the “1 on 1” basketball their accustomed to in the states. Like France, European countries have club and junior club basketball teams during the summer, which teach fundamentals, team ball, and continuous ball movement. Lastly, the U.S team lacked age and experience. The players they faced were anywhere from 2-4 years older than them, many who also play professionally overseas.

In the first contest against France they came going shot for shot. Led by 6’4” guard Rawle Alkins (NY), the U.S was able to ride his 7-8 shooting performance to a tough 76-71 victory. This marked the first time in Eurocamp history that a U.S team had won a game. Alkins was efficient from all three levels, finishing through contact on the drive, hitting from the midrange, and knocking down his two 3-point attempts. Lone Peak (UT) guard Frank Jackson also made a nice impression playing the lead guard position for the U.S. as he went 6-12 for 13 points. 6’9” forward Edrice Adebayo was the most effective big man as he went 5-10 for 12 points.

The second matchup of the weekend pitted them against a compilation of the Eurocamp All Stars. This team was made up of players that had performed well during the first two days of camp as well as a handful of players that were entering this year’s NBA draft. Notable names included Lucas Diaz Silva (JBC International Game MVP ’12), Omar Yurt, and Dejan Todorovic. Though the team may have lacked age and size to the Eurocamp All Stars, the U.S. frontcourt of Edrice Adebayo and Deron Davis seemed to accept the challenge. The big men combined to go 12-12 FGs from the field against Diaz Silva and Yurt.  Both (Adebayo and Davis) displayed power, post moves, and finishing ability through contact to help lead the U.S. to an upset over the Eurocamp All Stars 77-68. The U.S. also saw nice contributions from Josh Langford (AL) 13 points and Frank Jackson (UT) with 12. This win was huge as they were now confident they could play with anyone at the camp. This year’s roster was serious about their time in Italy and they made a statement.

The last matchup of the weekend had them facing the Greece 19U team. Though the Greeks kept it close in the first half only down 41-29, the U.S. ultimately blew the game open in the 3^rd and finished things out with a blowout score of 100-58. Four players finished in double-digit scoring led by Mustapha Heron (CT) with 15 points, Kobi Simmons (GA) with 13 points, and Rawle Alkins (NY) with 11 points. Arizona commit TJ Leaf had his best performance of the weekend as he chipped in 10 points (4-8 FGs) off the bench.

History was made this past weekend as they won their first game in Eurocamp history as well as finishing with a perfect 3-0 record. These guys were given the experience to play different competition, adjust to the euro-style game, play in front of NBA scouts, and make history. All in all, the 2015 U.S. Select Team left their mark on this year’s Adidas Eurocamp and set the standard for future teams.

Last nights victory was yet another milestone for the U.S. Select team as they took down the Eurocamp All Stars in the 13th annual adidas Eurocamp and improved their record to 2-0. The significance of this victory was big in terms of the competition they faced as the All star roster boasted 6 players who had entered their names in this years NBA draft. Coming into the game many were expecting the U.S. to struggle a bit due to the size and age of the European players; most of which were 3-4 years older than the U.S. guys. Despite what they lacked in those areas, the U.S. front court of Edrice Adebayo and Deron Davis went a perfect 12-12 from the field against NBA draftees Lucas Diaz Silva and Omar Yurt. Other significant contributors included Kobi Simmons and Frank Jackson who nailed two crucial 3 pointers in the 4th quarter. Today they look to finish a perfect 3-0 as they'll take on the Greece 19U team and accomplish something that last years team wasn't able to do; which was 1) win a single game and 2) go undefeated.

For the second year in a row, the U.S Select team participated in the Adidas Euro Camp in Trevis, Italy; competing against some of Europe’s best 19U-20U teams. Despite their lack experience and age, the U.S team was able to pull out their first ever win in the event against a tough French 20U squad (76-71) in front of big time scouts from the NBA, European Pro Leagues, etc. The U.S was led by 6’3” guard Rawle Alkins as he went 7-8 from the field (2-2 FT) for 18 points. Atkins showcased his ability to finish through contact while also nailing both 3 point attempts. Also contributing to the scoring effort for the U.S was lead guard Frank Jackson from Lone Peak HS (UT.) with 13 points and Hoopstate’s own Edrice “Bam” Adebayo with 12 points. The U.S. won the free-throw game down the stretch to close out the game.

The adizero short sleeve NBA Uniform System is 26 percent lighter than the Warriors’ current uniforms and will debut for the first time when the team faces the San Antonio Spurs on Friday, February 22 on ESPN and Comcast SportsNet Bay Area at 10:30 p.m. ET/7:30 p.m. PT. The Warriors will wear the uniforms for two additional Friday home games during the 2012-13 season including March 8 vs. the Houston Rockets and March 15 vs. the Chicago Bulls. adidas developed this innovative system to allow for optimal performance on the court while providing fans with a new and unique apparel option.  The Warriors, one of the most aggressive and creative teams in the NBA, were the perfect partner for the new uniforms.

In addition to being the Warriors’ lightest uniform to date, the adizero short sleeve NBA Uniform System features the first-ever super lightweight stretch woven short with maximum ventilation for player comfort. The jersey includes armhole insets with 360-degree stretch fabric that facilitates free range of motion for the arms and shoulders. The adizero short sleeve jersey allows for maximum movement in all phases of the game, equal with that of a traditional tank basketball jersey.

Throughout the evaluation process, adidas received positive feedback from players at all levels on the uniform’s performance and innovative style. “When adidas began working with us to develop the short sleeve jersey, I couldn’t wait to wear it in a game,” said Warriors forward Harrison Barnes. “I love the fit and style the sleeves give me on the court.”

“Partnering with adidas on this new uniform demonstrates the Warriors’ commitment to innovation and the progressive culture of the Bay Area,” said Rick Welts, president and chief operating officer of the Golden State Warriors. “The jerseys complement our players’ style on the court, but are also a nod to the style of our fans and the spirit of the Bay Area – innovation is ingrained in our culture.”

The uniform system is made from 60 percent recycled materials and features adidas’ Revolution 30 technology found in current NBA uniforms. Launched in the 2010-11 season, Revolution 30 technology is a lightweight uniform system that dries twice as fast to improve performance. The new uniforms also include a ClimaCool system and FORMOTION technology that combine to increase comfort for the players.

Top-rated players will also represent international teams including Dante Exum (Australia) and Mamadou Ndiaye (Africa).

The world’s elite 18-and-under players from nine international teams including Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, Latin America, US 2013 and US 2014, will train and compete in the prestigious annual program.

In addition to the world-class competition, adidas Nations attendees will receive professional on-court coaching and training, as well as off-court instruction on nutrition, leadership, discipline, philanthropy and global interactions. This will be led with mix of current and former college and NBA players and coaches including Darren Collison (Dallas Mavericks), Arron Afflalo (Denver Nuggets), Nolan Smith (Portland Trail Blazers), Don MacLean (retired NBA) and NBA assistant coaches Kelvin Sampson and Bill Bayno, among others.
