]]>The final 12 players selected to participate in the Under Armour Elite 24 event at Venice Beach, Calif. includes two Kansas commits and nine undecided high school boys’ basketball players. The 2012 roster is highlighted by five of the top 10 players in the ESPN 100 and three of the top six players in the ESPN 60.
Featuring 24 of the nation's top high school basketball players, Under Armour Elite 24 participants are selected based on their performance during AAU tournaments and national summer camps by ESPN high school basketball experts.
The 2012 Under Armour Elite 24 will be held at the Venice Beach outdoor courts in Los Angeles Aug. 24-25. The game airs live on ESPNU at 7 p.m. ET Saturday, Aug. 25, while the Under Armour Slam Dunk Contest will air Friday, Aug. 24 at 7 p.m. on ESPNU
Aaron Gordon, ranked No. 6 in the ESPNU 100, leads the class of 2013 contingent. Also included is Jabari Bird, ranked No. 20 in the ESPN 100 and Gordon1s teammate on the Oakland Soldiers AAU club. The duo led the Oakland Soldiers to the Nike Peach Jam title last month. Tyus Jones, the ESPN 601s No. 2 ranked player, leads the class of 2014 contingent.
Five Under Armour Elite 24 players selected to date have committed to colleges – Nate Britt II to North Carolina, Aquille Carr to Seton Hall, Nigel Williams-Goss to Washington and Conner Frankamp and Brannen Greene to Kansas.

Year in and year out this event pulls in the countries best talent and has them go head to head in Fort Myers, FL. Countless NBA players have played in this event with media outlets coming in from all over the country to check in on the nations best. Last year we saw Austin Rivers, now at Duke, draw huge crowds and put on an unforgettable show throughout the event. Check out the highlights below.
#2. Beach Ball Classic (Dec. 27-31) - Headlining the event will be Bishop Gorman with the #1 player in the country, Shabazz Muhammaed. The battle for #1 in 2013 might be on display if Prestwood (Julius Randle) and Whitney Young (Jabari Parker) both win their games on Wednesday (December 28). They would face off on Thursday (December 29) which could showcase one of the best battles of #1's in a long time as both players are highly skilled athletic pf's.

#3. Chick Fil-A Classic - This year boasting teams such as Oak Hill Academy, La Verne Lutheran, Christ School, United Faith Christian Academy, Word Of God and more. This event is listed as the #3 tournament in the country by many behind the Beach Ball Classic and the City of palms.

#4. HighschoolOT.com Holiday Invitational (Dec. 27-30) - Year in and Year out one of the top tournies not only in North Carolina but in the country. This year headlining the event is Rodney Purvis whom is ranked in the top 5 of just about every national recruiting board in the country.

This Holiday classic looks to be another stellar event as it features the likes of Archbishop Mitty (Aaron Gordon), Taft, DeMatha, La Verne Lutheran, Windward and always a crowd favorite Compton High School.

There's a good amount of our who-to-watch players playing in this event as well. Etop Udo-Ema does a great job at getting some of the top high schools not only in Southern California but Northern California, Nevada, and Arizona as well. There isn't another fall league that we have been to that is as competitive as this one!
