Tyler Herro 45 Point Triple Double! Kentucky Commit Toys with Trash Talkers!

Tyler Herro watched Whitnall's Wisconsin Divisioin 2 playoff run last season as a junior as he was out with injury.
This season, the Kentucky-bound senior is on FIRE! Opponents are throwing multiple defenders and defenses at Herro and his teammates, but Whitnall is still winning and Herro is putting up monster numbers!
According to Whitnall sources, Tyler Herro finished with 45 points before exiting with 4 minutes to go (31 in the first half) on his way to a triple-double as host Whitnall defeated Bay View 76-52 in their WIAA regional semifinal. Herro grabbed 17 rebounds to go with 12 assists!
All this happened after opposing coaches asked to face Whitnall when the tournament was seeded. You'll see both teams were trash-talking back and forth from the opening tip.
Tyler Herro made 4 3s and hit all 12 free throws. This was his 8th game of 40+ points (in 20 games) this season.
He's averaging over 33 points on the season. Next up Whitnall faces New Berlin Eisenhower who they beat earlier in the season.

Jordan McCabe entered the most-anticipated game of the annual Rick Majerus WBY Shootout as the crowd favorite. The dynamic senior point guard is known for his flashy passing and ball-handling skills.
Fresh of a productive trip to City of Palms in Ft Myers Florida, Kaukauna faced undefeated Waunakee who are led by Belmont-bound Mitch Listau.
Waunakee put multiple defenders on Mccabe for the entire game. They ran the Diamond and One and stuck with it.
Waunakee broke out to an early lead. But in the second half, the Ghosts scored 60 points on their way to a 101-66 win.
101 is the most points ever scored in the event. West Virginia commit Jordan Mccabe finished with just 9 (or 10) points but added 16 assists setting a new WBY record.
Eric Carl added 22 points for Kaukana. Dylan Kurey was a force for Kaukana finishing with 18 points, 20 rebounds!
Mitch Listau finished with 21 points and Will Knatz scored 16 for Waunakee.

Tyler Herro (Whitnall HS) is perhaps best known as one of the top shooters in the Class of 2018. The Milwaukee-area senior recently commited to play college basketball for Coach Calipari at Kentucky.
After picking up a tough loss versus Chicago Orr (#1 in Chicago), Whitnall had won 3 straight coming into their home opener (and conference opener) versus Milwaukee Lutheran.
In front of a big crowd, Tyler Herro showed off his versatility. He proved that he can score but he also proved his team functions best when everyone is involved. Finishing with 43 points, Tyler also picked up 11 assists before exiting the game. Whitnall won 79-68!
Next Friday, Tyler Herro and Whitnall face their rivals at home and Tyler gives us a preview in his postgame interview.

The number 2 player in the Class of 2018, Zion Williamson was back in action tonight as his Spartanburg Day Griffins took on Gaston Day from North Carolina. It was evident from the start that no one was going to stop Williamson has he repeatedly drove to the basket for the easy score.
