The post Crush In The Valley II: Stocker Risers! appeared first on www.ebooksnet.com.
]]>Here are a few of the best stock-risers from the Crush In The Valley II:
Mikey Lewis, 6’3, PG/SG, Prolific Prep (CA), 2024
He's been on the radar for quite some time, but despite his lofty numbers for the Oakland Soldiers and for Accelerated Prep, it feels like people sleep on him at times. The electric scorer puts pressure on defenders any time that he has the rock, has made huge strides as a playmaker for others, and has developed into a serious on ball defender against either backcourt spot. Lewis is St. Mary’s most heralded recruit and will undoubtedly find himself in contention for a number of post-season high school all-star games.
Lucas Toukam, 6’7, PF, Bella Vista Prep (AZ), 2026
While I had seen Lucas Toukam before, I was watching without a roster and had no idea that he was only a sophomore. Built like a grown man, the sophomore showed no fear on the floor, rebounded the ball outside of his area, and showed no problem converting through traffic at the rim. Toukam utilizes every bit of his 7-foot-3 wingspan on both ends of the court and will be a name to watch on the AAU circuit this spring.
Carter McDole, 6’7, SF, DNA Prep (CA), 2024
An intriguing long term prospect, Carter McDole started off his high school career at national power Montverde Academy (FL) then transferred to Orlando power Olympia HS, and is wrapping up his career out west at DNA Prep in LA. The lefty is able to play both forward spots, is an outstanding facilitator for others, and uses his athleticism to change the game on both ends of the court. McDole is a high upside two way forward whose best days of basketball are certainly ahead of him.
Aidan Sherrell, 6’11, C, Prolific Prep (CA), 2024
It’s hard for a McDonald’s All American to technically be considered a “stock riser,” but Aidan Sherrell showed that people may have him a bit lower than they should in the national rankings. The Alabama commit was much more assertive on the offensive end, was a game changer with his ability to keep plays alive on the offensive glass, and showed his developing range to the 3-point line. The Detroit native has ascended just as much as anyone in the national rankings over the past 18 months and there aren’t many bigs with higher upside in ‘24 than Sherrell.
Dace Pleasant, 6’5, SG/SF, Elite Prep (WA), 2024
There weren't many people who were more productive at Crush In The Valley than Dace Pleasant, who averaged 26 points and 13 rebounds while shooting the lights out in Elite Prep’s two games in Napa. Pleasant has an old school game, utilizes his size to make crafty finishes at the rack, and is a constant threat on the court wherever he is because of his deep jumpshot. The Seattle wing still remains wide open in terms of his recruitment.
Xaviel Rodriguez, 6’5, SG/SF, Accelerated Prep (CO), 2024
One of the better pure shooters of the event, Xaviel Rodriguez was a constant floor spacer for Accelerated Prep throughout the Crush In The Valley. He showed effortless range with his feet set, had no shortage of confidence letting it fly, and possesses a sturdy frame. The Puerto Rican product spends a considerable amount of time training with NBA players in Vegas at Impact Basketball, only making his transition to the collegiate level that much easier.

]]>Here are a few of the standouts from the Crush In The Valley II:
Tyran Stokes, 6’7, SF/PF, Prolific Prep (CA), 2026
Considered by many to be the top sophomore in the nation, Tyran Stokes did everything in his power to live up to his lofty reputation and more throughout Prolific Prep’s undefeated weekend in Napa. Stokes was a more confident 3-point shooter than the last time we seen him, killed defenders with his ridiculously explosive first step, and was more engaged as an on ball defender than our last evaluation. The Louisville native leads The Grind Session in efficiency and has done everything in his power to hold on to that No. 1 spot in the class of 2026.
Jayden Williams, 6’9, C, Bella Vista Prep (AZ), 2024
Sometimes there are players that are hidden in plain sight, and Jayden Williams is definitely one of those guys. Williams is a much more confident scorer with his back to the basket, is great playing out of the dunker as a lob threat, and offers so much on defense containing perimeter/as a shot blocker. An incredibly heralded player early in his career, Williams made the move to Overtime Elite and it was almost as if people forgot about how special of a prospect he was. There aren’t many better available big men in the late signing period than Jayden Williams.
A.J. Dybantsa, 6’8, SF, Prolific Prep (CA), 2025
The No. 1 player in the class of 2025 didn’t force the issue at all over the weekend for Prolific Prep, letting his offense come to him within the flow of the game and showing the immense versatility that he offers as a new age forward. Able to play inside and out, Dybansta was an outstanding offensive rebounder, ran the floor exceptionally well, and impacted the game on both ends with his combination of length and athleticism. The pride of Brockton, Mass., already has a NIL deal with Nike and is sitting at fourth in The Grind Session Power Conference in scoring.
Aliou Dioum, 6’10, PF, Accelerated Prep (CO), 2026
It has been a coming out party of sorts in The Grind Session season for Aliou Dioum, Colorado’s top prospect in the class of 2026. The Senegalese big man finished above the rim in traffic, showed a super soft touch out to the 3-point line, and was outstanding as a rim protector. Dioum’s 27-point, 19-rebound, 5-block performance emphasized why Georgia and Georgia Tech put scholarships on the table for him so early in the process.
Z.Z. Clark, 6’3, PG/SG, DNA Prep (CA), 2024
There have been a number of people who forgot about Z.Z. Clark, but the former Illinois commit certainly reminded everyone that he’s one of the better scoring combo guards still left on the west coast with his play at The Grind Session. Clark was outstanding in pick and roll play, was a threat to score anytime that he had the rock in his hands, and got it done from both backcourt spots equally well. The younger brother of Louisville point guard Skyy Clark played last season with Overtime Elite, but proved that he belongs in The Grind Session with his 36-point, 11-rebound, 4-assist performance against Bella Vista Prep.
Khaman Maker, 7’2, C, SFBA Trinity Prep (NV), 2024
The biggest player in the Grind Session made a big impact on the game, and that was Khaman Maker. The defensive minded big man from Sudan had double doubles in both of Trinity’s games over the weekend while adding four blocks in each outing. Maker isn’t one to force the issue offensively, but made a number of tough catches around the rim and finished over top of the defense. Naturally, the biggest impact that he made on the game was as a rim protector, as he leads the Grind Session in blocked shots per game (4.7 blocks per game) and made defenders think twice when attacking the rim.
