Having both respectively won their side of the conference, it set the stage for a hyped game that had around a dozen potential D1 players from both sides combined playing in the game amidst a sold out crowd at Olympia. Ultimately, it was Oak Ridge, ranked No. 31 in the current FAB 50 National Team Rankings, who won the game 87-73. There was no shortage of players who really helped themselves on both sides.

Here are a few of the top performers from the OCPS championship game:

Jamier Jones, 6’6, SF, Oak Ridge HS (FL), 2025
One of the elite juniors in the nation, Jamier Jones just continues to take his game to new heights. Always a truly special finisher at the rack, he is now a much more confident 3-point shooter and is an absolute terror as an offensive rebounder. Furthermore, Jones has really bought in on the defensive end and put massive pressure on the rock as an on ball defender. There wasn’t much more that Jamier could have done throughout his 27-point, 11-rebound showing to lock up his spot as a Top 5 player in the class.

Jordan Tillery, 6’5, PG/SG, Oak Ridge HS (FL), 2024
While Jamier Jones brought all the highlights, Jordan Tillery brought extreme versatility to the table, playing all three perimeter positions. His 20 points and seven assists don’t even begin to explain the level of impact that he had on both ends of the hardwood. Heading to Georgia Southern, Tillery has the potential to be an immediate impact D1 player due to his size and versatility from the backcourt.

Kameren Wright, 6’5, SG/SF, Olympia HS (FL), 2024
One of the better unsigned seniors in Florida is Kameren Wright, an athletic swingman with deep range. Against Oak Ridge, he dropped 17 points via a flurry of deep threes and blazing takes to the rack. Wright won the Pro16 title this summer with 1 Family and has already taken numerous official visits to D1 programs such as Murray State and Hofstra with high majors closely monitoring.

Kaiden White, 6’4, PG/SG, Olympia HS (FL), 2024
Not being from Florida, I wasn’t familiar with Kaiden White heading into this game. Leaving it, I’m glad that I made the choice to see the OCPS title game. A 6’4 guard with some wiggle to his game, White is a serious shooter who can create for others and has awesome court vision. Showing that he can more than hold his own against Oak Ridge’s abundance of D1 talent, White is a player you’re definitely going to want to track throughout the late signing period.

Jalen Reece, 6’0, PG, Oak Ridge HS (FL), 2025
While he’s not the flashiest player in the class of 2025, there aren’t many lead guards smarter than Jalen Reece in the class. The coach’s son plays the game at his own speed, has an incredibly tight handle, and showed off super deep range. The 15 points and 10 assists that he had against Olympia exemplify the way that he’s able to control the game, and the way he will be able to do the same at the high major level.

Tyler Johnson, 6’5, SF/PF, Oak Ridge HS (FL), 2024
In today’s game, Tyler Johnson is exactly what everyone looks for in a forward. He’s skilled enough to play small forward, tough enough to slide to power forward when needed, and athletic enough to defend both at the high major level. Johnson is exactly the type of glue guy that you need and the 10 points that he had against Olympia don’t even begin to tell the impact he had on the game. The Florida Rebels forward should serve a similar role next year in the ACC at Virginia Tech.

Vophcy Prophete, 6’5, SG/SF, Olympia HS (FL), 2024
A player who I hadn’t seen before was Vophcy Prophete, a bit of a throwback wing. Constantly throwing people off with his change of pace, he showed an innate ability to finish in traffic by taking slower steps and finishing with opposite hand or off opposite leg while also maintaining a presence as a 3-point threat. Owning no shortage of confidence, Prophete scored 20 points against perennial powerhouse Oak Ridge and is still open in the recruitment process.

C.J Cox, Milton Academy (Milton, Mass.)/Middlesex Magic UAA 6-2 PG 2024
With this backcourt shooter, it’s easy to see why his travel club won the UAA title. Cox helped his recruitment immensely by becoming a go-to player on a team that played well at the Sportsradar Showdown. He knocked down big shot after big shot at the event, albeit off the dribble or catch, and also has a variety of stepbacks in his arsenal. Cox had a seven 3-pointer, 29-point performance vs. New World 3SSB and a 26-point performance, plus the game winning free throws, in a victory over Austin Rivers 3SSB.

Jalen Haralson, La Lumiere (La Porte, Ind.)/Phenom United 16U 3SSB 6-6 SG 2025
Was terrific in showcase games at the Las Vegas Big Time, particularly in a star-studded matchup with the Florida Rebels EYBL. They were forced to double this powerful specimen who gets downhill as well as any player in the rising junior class. Haralson has a strong frame and is a matchup nightmare with his offensive skill set and broad shoulders that he uses to dislodge defenders. He also reads the doubles fairly well and utilizes a nice mid-range pull up to keep defenders off balance. It was announced on Wednesday that he would transfer from Fishers (Indianapolis, Ind.) to NIBC club La Lumiere for the 2023-24 season. One of the best offensive talents in the 2025 class is only going to continue to develop his game against the high-level competition he’ll face this upcoming high school season.

Tyler Jackson, St. Frances Academy (Baltimore, Md.)/Team Thrill UAA 6-2 PG 2025
Team Thrill just might be team in grassroots basketball and there is definitely plenty of credit to go around. Jackson is a catalyst and strong in nearly ever facet of the game. He’s also consistent and steady. Jackson has a tight handle and can stop on a dime, can make a variety of shots and strokes it well off the bounce. He also plays good harassing defense and makes the right reads in transition. He’s a top 10 national player with big-time offers who can climb even higher in a top-heavy class.

Jamier Jones, Oak Ridge (Orlando, Fla.)/Florida Rebels EYBL 6-6 SF 2025
Had a good showing at the Pangos All-American Camp, Section 7 Team Camp and was in his bag at the Big Time, as well. He continues to expand his shooting range and with a little more polish, can rate with the very best big guard-wing scorers in a loaded class. Jones has a terrific combination of speed in the open court and the ability to change direction while he’s getting downhill. Jones also is a quality perimeter defender. His offer sheet includes heavyweights such as Houston, Kansas and Texas A & M and he’ll spend his junior season playing for his travel ball coach at Oak Ridge.

Alexander Lloyd, Westminster Academy (Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.)/Nightrydas Elite 16U 6-4 SG 2025
The Boozer brothers, rising junior Cameron and Cayden, get plenty of attention on Lloyd’s travel ball club, but he is a terrific prospect in his own right. He made the effort to attend the Pangos All-American Preview in the spring and earned a spot at the Pangos All-American Camp, where he finished in the Top 40 of the camp’s player ranking by the HOOP SCOOP. Loyd has a smooth offensive game, is explosive in the half court and in transition, and is even better off his right pivot foot going left as a natural right-hander. He also shoots good percentage shots and was excellent from the free throw line (88 percent) at Nike Peach Jam for the 16U champions. In state heavyweights Miami and Florida St. are on his trial and expect other P5 schools to take a long look.

Antonio Pemberton, Bradford Christian Academy (Lawrence, Mass.)/Mass Rivals 3SSB 6-0 PG 2027
With the Sportsradar Showdown deserving plenty of attention with its high level teams, we didn’t get to watch as many 15U and 14u teams as we would have liked in Las Vegas, but one rising ninth grader definitely caught our eye. Pemberton is oozing with confidence playing up and is an explosive athlete for not having yet started the ninth grade. He was getting paint touches and making plays for teammates and definitely showed he belonged. Pemberton already has great experience, having played against NEPSAC competition as an eighth-grader at Austin Prep (Reading, Mass.), and is on our early 2027 radar. A national name in the rising ninth-grade class for sure.

Jehvion Starwood, Oswego East (Oswego, Ill.)/Illinois Wolves UAA 6-3 PG 2024
We evaluated the Wolves on the last day of the live evaluation period and both teams in the game were dead tired. Starwood still stood out with his all-around game and energy level despite the conditions. The lefty point guard can really move well off the dribble or off the ball and is a good facilitator with the ability to finish for himself. Starwood also has a good change of pace game and is a team-oriented player. Starwood has been offered by Miami (OH), Southern Illinois, Illinois State and Wyoming. Expect other mid-majors to take an interest as well.

Emmanuel Stephen, Dream City Christian (Glendale, Ariz.)/Paul George Elite 7-0 2024 C
There is always a premium for rim protection at the P5 level and Stephen offers that. There is room for improvement in his offensive face-up game, but the pluses he brings far outweigh any polish he lacks. Stephen communicates with teammates, works hard to rotate and get in position, and is a quality rebounder on both ends of the floor. He also loves to challenge offensive players and in a high level game against Vegas Elite 17U, he was challenged at the rim on multiple occasions and would not allow the highlight play to be completed. One some occasions, he got the block and on others was called for a clean foul, but either way his teammates appreciated his effort and intensity. Those qualities are also something P5 college coaches love to work with in a big man.

Colin White, Ottawa-Glandorf (Ottawa, Ohio)/Indiana Elite 3SSB 6-6 2024 SF
Even though Indiana Elite was upset in the Sportsradar Showdown quarterfinals, it doesn’t diminish the impact he had on a terrific travel team. In fact, its 2024 group reportedly only lost seven games over the last 3 years while racking up 106 wins. Some of the team accolades is starting to trickle down to White, last year’s Northwest Ohio Player of the Year and a first team all-state choice. He’s a terrific all-around perfumer with a nice pull up jumper and starting July 1, began receiving offers from programs such as Nebraska, Northwestern, Rice and TCU.

Caleb Wilson, Holy Innocents (Atlanta, Ga.)/Florida Rebels EYBL 6-9 2025 SF
Can he challenge for a top 3 spot in a much-heralded class? He would be Top 3 in many recent classes and if he continues to tighten up his game the sky is the limit. Wilson took some low percentage shots at times, but is developing a nice elbow jumper and other facts of his face-up game. Wilson is an explosive athlete with a quick second jump and uses that ability to enhance his high level defensive instincts. He can choose nearly any school in the country and where his ceiling at the next levels end up will be intriguing to watch. Wilson definitely has the ability to surpass some more heralded names in his class one day.
