In episode No. 44 of our  In The Paint Show,"  co-hosts Devin Ugland and Ronnie Flores go hard on the Pangos All-Frosh/Soph Camps and dish on the start of the NBA season. Who will represent each conference in the 2020 NBA Finals? Who will go furthest in the West, the Lakers or Clippers?  The fellas give their predictions!

Dev and Ron welcome long-time talent scout Van Coleman (Global Sports Network) on the pod to break down the two latest Pangos All-Frosh/Soph Camps in Dallas (South) and Chicago (Midwest). Coleman has been covering the four regional Pangos Camps for a decade and he breaks down his top performers, and perhaps even more importantly, what he looks for when evaluating underclassmen in a camp setting. Coleman even gives his insight when he talks to campers and camp coaches on playing the game the right way. Coleman dishes on Midwest camp standouts such as MOP Omaha Biliew (West Des Moines Dowling Catholic, Iowa), Jasen Green (Omaha Millard North, Neb.) and Jaylen Drane (Chicago Simeon) and South camp standouts, including co-MOP Jordan Walsh (Cedar Hill Faith Family, Texas), Tre White (San Antonio Cornerstone Christian, Texas) and fast-rising Ryan Agarwal (Coppell, Texas).

Ron and Dev go in on the injury to New Orleans Pelicans rookie Zion Williamson, who is due for surgery for a torn meniscus. His timetable for return is 6-8 weeks, but will the Pelicans be cautious? Will he sit out longer as a pre-caution? Is his weight the issue?

Ron and Dev are frankly not surprised by Williamos's injury, as the 2019 No. 1 overall NBA Draft pick battled lingering injuries at Duke and his senior year of high school in South Carolina. Is it just too much pounding on his joints at his weight? Was it too much explosive jumping and over use as a high school and grassroots player? In episode No. 35, we went hard in the paint on the highly important topic of single-sport specialization at the youth level and the long-term impacts it has. We took a basketball-centric look at the topic with ESPN Senior Writer Baxter Holmes.

Does Williamson's injury have anything to do with single-sport specialization?
