Patrick Beverley (LA Clippers) grew up playing basketball at Chicago Marshall in the Public League. Frank Kaminsky (Charlotte Hornets) grew up playing at suburban Benet Academy. Both were back home hooping with fellow pros in a run organized by Evolution Athletics and trainer Jeff Pagliocca. Jeff is well known for training NBA, College and High School players. Each summer Jeff prepares NBA prospects for the Draft.
Joe Young is headed to China next but he shares an agent with Beverley so things lined-up for him to play in Chicago.
You'll also see Chicago pros like Will Bynum, Ben Moore (Pacers), Alfonzo McKinnie, Sam Thompson, Brandon Paul, Ahmad Starks, Billy Garrett and Kerem Kanter.
Check out these exclusive highlights!

Kevin Durant Mean Mugging & Trash Talking To Joey Buckets During "Embarrassing" Loss http://www.ebooksnet.com/kevin-durant-mean-muggin-talking-trash-to-joey-buckets/ Fri, 06 Apr 2018 14:58:00 +0000 https://bilcomprd.wpengine.com/?p=155228 With a little less than four minutes remaining in the opening quarter of the Pacers 20-point victory over…

With a little less than four minutes remaining in the opening quarter of the Pacers 20-point victory over the Warriors (you read that correctly, the Pacers beat the Warriors 126-106 and Golden State had KD, Draymond, Klay and J. Cole's doppelganger, Quinn Cook), Kevin Durant hit a running jumper while being fouled by Bojan Bogdanovic. A frustrated Bojan threw his hands in the hair and was sent to the bench as KD was walkin' and mean muggin.'

On the following play, KD assisted Cook on a three, causing the Pacers to call a timeout as KD gave the Pacers' bench a look like they were a bunch of "blog boys."

Joey Buckets didn't seem to appreciate the look, got up and exchanged some words with KD. I wish I could say Joe Young responded by giving KD some buckets but he only played a total of four minutes. What did happen was Lance Stephenson knocked down a three and then threw a lob to former Dunk Champ Glenn Robinson Jr in the remaining minutes to give the Pacers a one-point lead going into the second quarter.

The Pacers outscored the Warriors 35-25 in the second, 35-26 in the third and ended up with the 20-point win! It was the Pacers' sixth win in their past seven games.

After the game, Warriors' coach Steve Kerr blasted his team's effort.

“I’m mad. I’m embarrassed,” Kerr said via the East Bay Times. “I know that this game doesn’t mean anything in the seedings. But the playoffs start next week. It’s an embarrassing effort and a pathetic effort.

"So we’ll try next week. Hopefully we will.”

Durant, who finished with a team-high 27 points and 7 assists in 33 minutes, disagreed with Kerr's comments.

"Nah, I thought we cared tonight," he said. "We cared. Over the last few games, we cared. … They came out with a better strategy, being more aggressive than us … I think we care. I think everybody in this locker room cares about playing ball. I disagree with that, but I understand what he's doing."

JOEY BUCKETS

Joe Young might not be getting many buckets in Indiana but his high school team in Houston, TX was one of the most dominating teams I have ever seen. His Yates team went a perfect 34-0 and won back-to-back state titles. During that time, his team once beat another school 170-35! It was their sixth time winning by over 60!

And that is why Yates retired his jersey last year.
