"Welcome to the fucking league!"

That's what Joel Embiid had to say to Mo Bamba back in June after dunking on him during one of Drew Hanlen's summer workouts.

On Monday, the NBA All-Star big man got to properly welcome the rookie unicorn to the league during the 76ers and Magic preseason game.

As expected, Embiid dominated with an easy 21 points (would have had more if he wasn't jacking up so many threes; he was 8-of-9 from two and 1-of-6 from three) and 7 boards in just 23 minutes. The 7'0" Mo knocked down both of his threes and finished with 12 points on 4-of-5 shooting in just 17 minutes off the bench. Not bad.

After his preseason debut, Mo posted a posted a couple of pics of him and Embiid with a "Welcome to the fucking league" caption.

As expected, the league's best IG roaster commented on the post.

"Bruh, that's a block, layup...whatever that is. You were BBQ chicken on the post tonight. You had 4 fouls in 8 mins young fella. I would've fouled you out in 10. That's a welcome to the F league. Gotta learn how to guard without fouling. All love haha."

Embiid then posted a pic of his own on his IG account with the caption: "Like my ninja MO...His skinny ass can't guard me."

Thanks to the Bucks and Eric Bledsoe, we all now know who the fuck Terry Rozier is.

Thanks to the 76ers and Joel Embiid, we all now know he wasn't a one-round wonder and now have a new Scary Terry beef to enjoy.

Late in the first half of Game 4 aka The TJ McConnell game, the 6'1" Rozier got into a physical altercation with the 7'2" Joel Embiid after the troll God attempted to steal the ball from Rozier during a dead ball.

"He tried to punch me twice. Too bad he's so short he couldn't get to my face." Embiid said after the 76ers series-saving win. "I didn’t understand why it was a double technical, because I was just trying to get the ball and he was the one trying to swing.”

After each of them were hit with (deserving) techs, they each hit a three.

“Those type of plays, they just kind of like boost your energy and it just takes your game to another level,” Said Embiid, who finished with 15 points and 13 boards. “So I like getting into that type of stuff.”

Embiid's amusing postgame comments about fighting reminded me of my third favorite quote from Embiid.

"Oh no. I'm not worried about that," Embiid said on ESPN's SC6 when asked about players getting mad over his social media disses. "If those guys don't want to get their feelings hurt, if they're not strong mentally, that's not my fault. But I think when it comes down to it, if we've all got to square up, I mean, I'm 7-2 and I'm a big dude, so I don't think you want to try me. And I'm African too."

Rozier wasn't the only Celtic that had a fun exchange with the "big African dude." During a third quarter conversation, Marcus Morris repeatedly signaled with his hands "3-0" in the face of Embiid.

After the game, Morris said, "I wouldn't say a damn word if I was down 3-1."

"Shit, I'm ready to go now. They had a lot to say in here. They did what they're supposed to do. They got one. Shit, we did what we're supposed to do, we got one. So we'll go back 3-1 and hopefully we put it away."

FYI: As much as you might "trust the process," NBA teams down 3-0 are 0-129 in winning the series.

Joel Embiid made his playoff debut on Thursday. We were hoping for another drama-filled battle between him and Hassan Whiteside that would spill over into social media after the game. We didn't get that because Whiteside was only able to stay on the floor for 13 minutes and sounded like he had bigger issues with his coach than his competition. What we did get was some great entertainment between the masked Embiid and Justise Winslow, who intentionally stepped on and tried to break the goggles from one of Embiid's masks during the game (now that's old school thinking!).

"Justise stepped on it and tried to break it with his hands but little do they know that I have about 50 of them so it's going to take much more than that to get me out of the series. I'm going to be a nightmare for them too."

Despite the discomfort from the three masks Embiid went through on the night, he still put up 23 points (3-4 3PT), 7 boards, 4 assists and 3 blocks in the 20-point win. His most satisfying block came against Winslow seconds after getting blocked by a trash-talking Winslow.

"I’m glad I got him back and kind of shut him up a little bit... you don’t really want to talk trash to me."

Fuck you injuries! You allowed Karl "What's child support?" Malone to play 80+ games in 17 out of 18 seasons but you can't allow me to enjoy the Philly Process or Lakers without you constantly messing with their young talent.

On Wednesday night, I got to watch Joel Embiid play for 9 minutes before he bumped heads with Markelle Fultz (playing in his second games since returning from his shoulder injury) and was taken to a hospital. The 76ers said Embiid suffered a facial contusion but not a concussion. Embiid posted a video from the hospital with the words "Not good."

Later that night -- that saw Brandon Ingram return after missing 12 games --  I got to watch three quarters of Lonzo Ball before he left the game with a left knee contusion after making contact with Harrison Barnes. Both Ball and Coach Walton didn't sound worried about the latest knee injury but Ball has already missed 16 games in 2018 because of soreness in that knee.

If those two scares weren't frustrating enough, I also watched the most exciting player in high school basketball, Zion Williamson, injure his thumb during the McDonalds All-American game. According to ESPN, the Duke commit will visit a personal orthopedist today to see if his thumb is broken or dislocated.

I expect Zion to be just fine by the time he throws down his first windmill dunk in a Duke uniform, Embiid will be just fine by the time the 76ers start the playoffs and Lonzo Ball will be just fine by the time he...makes his next viral dance video.

Zion Williamson: According to Jason Jordan of the USA Today, Zion's parents said Zion is "fine" and "good to go." He will have his finger check out by a doctor when they return to South Carolina.

Joel Embiid: Joel will miss two to four weeks after surgery for an orbital fracture on his left eye. He has also been placed in the NBA concussion protocol and will have to wear a mask when he returns. Hopefully it's a MF Doom mask.

Lonzo Ball: Zo is questionable for the Lakers next game after an MRI confirmed he does have a left knee contusion.

The beef between Joel Embiid and Hassan Whiteside goes way back to November of 2016, when Embiid posted a photo of himself being guarded by Whiteside and a "BBQ Chicken caption."

Earlier in the season, the two got into a hilarious twitter war after a 76ers win that included Embiid pointing at the Heat bench and telling them to take Whiteside's ass out of the game after picking up a third (questionable) foul.

On Thursday night, the two talented, trash-talking big men resumed their beef. Whiteside won the stats battle -- 26 PTS & 8 REBS to 17 PTS & 7 REBS -- got the W and had the "highlight" of the night: No, not him throwing down a dunk on Embiid but him trying to throw an elbow into Embiid's back, which led to him slapping himself in the face!

"He tried to hit me in the back, which is kind of dirty because of the fact that I've had back problems," Embiid said after the game. "We're going to see about that. I won't forget about that. I don't think I touched him... He hits pretty soft so I didn't feel anything. But just the action of him trying to do that, I think it's pretty messed up. I don't care what we have outside of basketball but at the same time you have to respect him as a basketball player and play basketball. Have fun doing. I'm not worried about it."

It was only fitting that 5'4" Kevin Hart videobombed Joel Embiid's postgame interview because The Process dominated the Lakers on Wednesday night the way a grown man would dominate a little kid on a low rim in the front driveway. He dominated the Lakers...well, like he dominated DeAndre Jordan and that other center (Willie Reed) Embiid doesn't remember at Staples just a couple of nights earlier.

"I love LA," Said Embiid, who followed up his 32 and 16 performance with a career-high 46 points (14-20 FG, 2-3 3PT, 16-19 FT), 15 rebounds, 7 assists and 7 blocks vs the Lakers. "I love the Staples Center. I wanted to come out here and put on a show."

After the show, the Social Media and Trolling God, who once said "Fuck LaVar Ball" on Instagram, took another shot at LaVar by posting a pic of him scoring on (No-Show) Lonzo Ball and putting "LaVar, Fars, Iran" as the location and "WHAT A NIGHT!!!!!" as the caption.

Embiid also gave a special shout out to his "rival" Hassan Whiteside during a postgame interview.

"I wish I could have had the quadruple-double with blocks, shout out Hassan Whiteside."

What he did have was one of the 6 instances of a player racking up 40/10/5/5 with blocks in the last 30 years.

With nine and a half minutes remaining in the first quarter of the 76ers' 119-95 win over the Heat on Friday, Miami center Hassan Whiteside picked up his third (questionable) foul while guarding Joel Embiid. Embiid -- trying way too hard to put on a show for his Kansas fans -- pointed at the Heat bench and told them to take Whiteside's ass out of the game.

After the game, the two got into a hilarious exchange on Twitter that had most of the internet thinking Embiid destroyed Whiteside both on and off the court.

Before we get into that exchange (that I hope continues throughout the season), I want to point out that Embiid had a pretty awful game: 5 points on 1-of-7 shooting (0-3 3pt), 7 rebounds, 1 block and 3 fouls in 15 minutes. Whiteside wasn't much better but far from worse: 7 points on 2-of-5 shooting, 3 rebounds, 2 blocks, 1 steal and 4 fouls in 11 minutes. And the video above shows you a couple of those 4 fouls were questionable ones.

I also want to bring up a post made by Embiid back in November of 2016 after a game vs the Heat.

The posted photo is him going at Whiteside and for the location he put "BBQ Chicken," the saying Shaq made famous when referring to players that couldn't guard him. In 23 minutes of that game, Embiid had a nice line of 22 points, 5 boards and 3 blocks, while Whiteside had a game-high 32 points (13-19 fg), 13 boards and 2 blocks in 32 minutes. The reason why the 76ers won that game was because the rest of the Heat starters + 6th man Tyler Johnson shot a combined 14 for 53 from the field.

The 76ers and Heat played each other a few more times that season with Embiid shut down and Whiteside treating the 76ers like BBQ chicken: 30 & 20 in one game and 15/11/4 in a blowout win.

Here we are back to Friday night's action, trash-talking and Twitter war. Everybody is so quick -- quicker than the 76ers were with an extension deal -- to award Embiid the "winner" but I think Whiteside is currently winning the battle between them on and off the court.

NBA2K18 cover athlete Kyrie Irving was a little shocked to hear he his 2K rating was just a 90 -- four less than he expected, one less than 2K17 cover athlete Paul George and one more than Damian Lillard and Isaiah Thomas. And big man Joel Embiid thought it was "bull crap" when he found out he was given an 86, which is five less than Karl-Anthony Towns. And you can bet over the next month as 2K starts releasing the rest of the ratings, you will be hearing a lot of players dropping F-bombs and hilarious tweets online as they complain about their scores being too low.

Before you start complaining about the scores being too high or too low, keep in mind there were only five players who finished last season with 95 or more: LeBron was the highest with 97, James Harden, Russell Westbrook and Kawhi Leonard were at 96 and Steph Curry had 95.  So unless you are a MVP candidate near the end of the season, you aren't going to be a 95.

LaVar, LaMelo and a few other members of the Ball family arrived in Vegas today for Lonzo Ball's Summer League debut and look who was waiting for him!

As expected, TMZ asked the BBB CEO what he thought of Joel Embiid's recent "Fuck LaVar" comment, which was a response to Ball saying Embiid and Ben Simmons need to "get their asses off the goddamn Twitter and get into the gym." The response was classic LaVar.

"The reason he said that is he has three words. His vocabulary is limited. You have to use cuss words when you don't have intellect.

"He's not intelligent at all. He worried about me, he should be worried about playing.

"I got three words for him: Can't play at all. Oh shoot, that's four."

If you saw the  movie Baby Driver then you probably just thought of a specific scene with Jamie Foxx.

LaVar, while wearing the $200 Zo slides, also commented about Embiid's health and said he probably wont even be on the floor when the Lakers play the 76ers.

During an interview with 97.5 The Fanatic on Thursday, Big Baller Brand CEO LaVar Ball suggested the 76ers Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid -- who joked about dunking on Lonzo during the NBA draft -- should be spending more time in the gym and less time talking on social media.

So guess what, get your asses off the goddamn Tweeter, and get in the gym.

Ball also criticized Simmons and the 76ers 2017 #1 pick, Markelle Fultz, when hosts Rob Ellis and Geoff Mosher asked Ball about Fultz being a threat to win Rookie of the year over his son.

Add their games up and see how they turn the program around. LSU (where Simmons went)wasn’t turned around, they’re great players. They’re good, they made it to the NBA, they’re good kids that can play, it’s just sometimes, these people get to twist their words and make it seem like they’re doing something. Don’t complain and talk about stuff, go ahead and do something.

Don’t worry about the outside stuff that’s going on, these guys gotta get healthy and at least get on the court first. Both of ‘em played in college and didn’t uplift their team. I ain’t got nothing against Fultz, that boy can play, but if you really that good, your team gotta go at least .500 if you got a bunch of blind midgets.

Later that night, Simmons posted a video of him working out at two in the morning. And if you follow Simmons and Embiid on Instagram then you will probably notice they seem to live in the gym.
