The post Jordan Clarkson Gets 1st Win With Philippine Team, Dominates 8-Man Japan appeared first on www.ebooksnet.com.
]]>On Tuesday, Jordan Clarkson scored 22 points, dished out a team-high 9 ASSISTS (!) and got his first win with Gilas Pilipinas. The 33-point victory (113-80) came against short-handed Japan, who played with just eight players after four were sent home because of their involvement in a prostitution scandal.
Prostitution scandal?
On Monday, Yuya Nagayoshi, Takuya Hashimoto, Takuma Sato and Keita Imamura were kicked out of the Asian Games after being busted in the red light district of Jakarta...in their national jerseys!

"I just feel a sense of shame," Japan's chef de mission Yasuhiro Yamashita told reporters. "We deeply apologize and intend to give the athletes thorough guidance from now on."
The basketball players had dinner after leaving the Games village last Thursday, August 16, and are believed to have been solicited by a pimp to go to a hotel with women, Yamashita added.
Back to Clarkson (who has no issue finding celebs and models to date), here's what Coach Yeng Guiao had to say about the Cavalier after the team's bounce-back win.
"He displayed his passing skills today," Said Guiao. "He made his teammates look good. He's a naturally good passer. He just let his teammates play this game. He found them when they were open and that really helped us in the breakaway in the third and fourth quarter."
The Philippines will play either Syria or Indonesia for a shot at fifth place in the Asian Games.

]]>The NBA initially didn't want Cleveland Cavs guard/model & celebrity dater Jordan Clarkson to participate in the 2018 Asia Games because it wasn't part of the NBA/FIBA agreement that allows NBA players to participate in international basketball games. They eventually made an exception and on Tuesday morning he made his debut for the Philippines. He also put up a nice line of 28 points (16 in the 3rd quarter), 8 boards, 5 threes, 4 assists and 2 steals but it wasn't enough to pull off a victory.
China beat Gilas Pilipinas 82-80 behind 25 points, 12 boards and 7 blocks from the Houston Rockets' 7-2 big man Zhou Qi. The win continues China's 44-year Asian Games win streak against the Philippines team.

]]>The post Best Reactions To Brandon Ingram's Game-Winning Three vs The 76ers appeared first on www.ebooksnet.com.
]]>The Lakers came in Philly on a five-game losing streak. One of the positives during this losing streak has been the play of rising star Brandon Ingram. The second-year, toothpick-skinny, 20-year-old small forward had a career-high 32 against KD and the Warriors earlier in the week and capped off his 21/7/6 night against Joel Embiid, future Rookie of The Year Ben Simmons and the 76ers with a game-winning three.
Since the assist on the game-winner came from Lonzo Ball, Father LaVar had an amusing quote about the first game-winner by a Laker since D'Angelo Russell's "Ice in his veins" three vs the Wolves back in April.
"He already saw it before it happened," Said LaVar, who has been very critical of the Lakers (and just about everything) in recent days. "When I come this far of a distance, it's hard to beat him. I don't like all them losses. So, he'll do whatever it takes to get that `W."
Ingram also complimented his Big Baller teammate for making the assist.
"Lonzo made an incredible drive," Ingram said. "He had a closeout on Joel Embiid, and he easily could've shot that 3-pointer. He was wide open. He drew in the defense, kicked it to me, and I just knocked down the shot. I had the confidence to take the shot, whether good or bad. I felt like it was a good shot."
The best reaction to the shot came from Jordan Clarkson.
“Shit, that motherfucker was wide open!" Said the model dater to Lakers Nation Serena Winters. "He better shoot that mother fucker. If you ain't shoot that shit, I might’ve slapped them worms right off your motherfuckin head.”
If you read Clarkson's quote in Samuel L. Jackson's voice, it gets even better. It also ranks up there with Austin River's postgame comments about rookie Donovan Mitchell last week: “That little motherfucker is good. That dude’s a rookie. He’s crazy. He’s the best rookie in the NBA. That motherfucker is out there leading a team as a rookie. You know what I mean?"
This must be a LA thing.
Here's a few more reactions to Ingram, including one by Lakers legend and UNC alumni James Worthy: "You alright for a Duke guy."

]]>In the latest episode of 'Unseen Hours,' we get to watch a few of NBA trainer Drew Hanlen's clients -- rising stars Kelly Oubre, Jayson Tatum and Jordan Clarkson -- go 1-on-1 against each other and a workout with new Chicago Bull Zach LaVine, who seems to be recovering well from his season-ending ACL tear.
You can see more of Drew with Kelly and Jordan in previous episodes of the online series by Pure Sweat Basketball.

]]>When you bring your girl to the Drew League, you have to put up big numbers, right?
Last year, Nick Young used to light it up in front of ex-fiancee Iggy Azalea and James Harden scored 37 with a game-winner in a championship game in front of "ex-girlfriend" Khloe Kardashian.
Yesterday, Khloe's sister, Kendall Jenner, attended a Drew League game to watch "friend" Jordan Clarkson and Nick Young take on Harden's LAUNFD team and he scored.....6 POINTS!?! Yep, the very talented young Laker was ice cold (unofficial stat: 1-12 in 1st half) in his Drew debut on Sunday, in front of the lovely Kendall, and almost put up a donut in a league with the slogan, "no excuse, just produce."
He was so bad, the Drew announcer even joked they should "have brought Brandon Ingram instead."
Oh well, don't feel too bad for Clarkson. He has a new 4-year, $50 million deal with the Lakers, is a Pokemon Go master, one of the best dressed in the NBA and is always rumored to be dating a beautiful celeb.
Hopefully Jordan returns next week with Team MHP/Problems and puts on a better show.

]]>Class was in session during last week's Power 106 Celeb Game when streetball legend and special guest coach Grayson Boucher aka The Professor was showing Lakers' future stars D'Angelo Russell and Jordan Clarkson one of his (many, many) signature moves: The baseline behind the back one in the featured video is called "The Moses Move."
When they weren't learning some new handles tricks, Russell, Clarkson and teammate Julius Randle were having some "high-flying" fun as they tried to dunk on each on the kiddie rim.
Here'a a few great pics from our friend Cassy Athena of the LA low rim dunkers posterizing each other and interacting with the players, celebs and fans.
