Was LeBron's game-saving block before his buzzer-beating game-winner in Game 5 a goaltend?

He admitted it was....according to LeBronologist Brian Windhorst, who tweeted his favorite player saying, "I definitely thought it was a goaltend. Of course."

LeBron really doesn't think his defensive play on Oladipo was a goaltend. That tweet cut off the King saying, "No, of course I didn't think it was a goaltend. I try to make plays like that all of the time. He made a heck of a move, got me leaning right and he went left and I just tried to use my recovery speed and get back up there and make a play on the ball and I was able to make a play."

As for Oladipo, here's what he had to say about LeBron giving him that Iguodala playoff treatment.

"I got a step on him, and I felt I even got grabbed on the way to the rim. Tried to shoot a layup. It hit the backboard then he blocked it. Replays I guess you can see. I guess it was a tough play at the time for him but It was a goaltend. It's hard to even speak on it. It just sucks. Honestly, it really sucks."

Oladipo's teammate and LeBron nemesis Lance Stephenson agreed.

"Of course. I think it was goaltending. We should have got the refs attention and told him. I don't know what to say about that. Look at the replay. Clearly a goaltending. I'm disappointed but hey, we got to take care of home."

Unfortunately for the Pacers, the play wasn't reviewed and they are now one game away from fishing trips...and whatever Lance does in the summer.

On Sunday, the Clown Prince of Crime was in top form: flopping, baiting the King into a tech, flopping, getting called for travelling on an inbound, flopping and getting into a wrestling match with Jeff (finally has a reason to be on the floor) Green.

"I love Lance." Said coach Tyronn Lue after the Cavs' win in Game 4. "He's a throwback player. He reminds me back when I played when I first got in the league. Guys were physical. He's going to hit you, no easy layups. You love that physicality he brings...But I like his style. He comes in, he plays hard and tough. JUMP BALL: After a jump ball is called, Lance takes the ball away from LeBron and proudly holds it up in the air like he's Rafiki holding up baby Simba. LeBron wins the tip.

GET OFF ME PT 1 & 2: There's two great moments in this montage clip. The first is Lance's surprised reaction to LeBron pushing his hands off of him. The second (17 second mark) is Lance running into the back of Nance, bouncing off of him and landing on the ground.

ALL BALL: Lance steals the ball from LeBron, takes on two Cavs and scores. LeBron was left at near half court holding his hand in pain.

WRESTLING WITH JEFF: Lance comes in with 14 seconds left in regulation. Oladipo hits a three to make it a three-point game with 11 seconds left on the clock. Lance tackles Jeff Green on the inbound and wrestles with him on the floor, hoping for another jump ball. A foul (not a flagrant one) is called on Lance. Green hits one of the two free throws for the game's final scored point.

“He’s not going to fight,” Said Green to ESPN. “I’m not going to fight. It’s not worth it. I mean, if we wanted to fight, there’s a big-ass parking lot out there and we can fight. But at the end of the day, my job is to keep my composure, go to the free throw line, knock one down and then move on. It’s not worth it to give that extra energy to him.”

Here's your latest entertaining installment of LeBron vs Lance. It happened during the 4th quarter of LeBron's one-man show against the Pacers in GM2. What makes this so entertaining is the shove LeBron gave Lance also caused coach Nate McMillan to join Lance on the floor. Besides the special, the very special James finished the game with 46 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists. 29 of those 46 came in the first half and 16 of those 29 came in the opening minutes as he outscored the Pacers 16-1 to start the game. The stat line gave him his 10th career playoff game with 40/10/5; In the past 35 years, Michael Jordan and Shaq are 2nd on this list with a combined 8!

It was another one of those performances that made you question if James Harden really is the MVP of the league, especially after seeing The Beard miss 16 of 18 shots in the Rockets' 20-point win later that night.

A year ago on this day, I had a conversation with Richard Jefferson about LeBron and we agreed that he probably should be MVP every single season but the award will end up going to a player with the "sexiest" stats of the season.

“People always look at stats and every year people are going to get excited over this year’s sexy numbers. Pop could be coach of the year, every year, but so and so did this or that or something unexpected, so that coach wins. People have gotten used to seeing LeBron’s greatness (he then rattled off a list of recent accomplishments longer than Pop’s resume).”

POSTGAME CONTROVERSY

Speaking of LeBron and Coach Pop, right after Game 2, LeBron was asked by reporter Allie LaFare about his thoughts on the passing of Popovich's wife. A lot of people were upset at LaFare and TNT for the timing of the question. In LaFare's defense, LeBron posted a video on the Uninterrupted network saying he was not "blindsided" on air and was told about the question before the interview started.

Lance Stephenson compared his return to the Indiana Pacers to Michael Jordan’s return to the Bulls. On Tuesday, Lance reminded the Pacers why he just might be the Michael Jordan of SMH and Shaqtin’ moments by ending an 18-point victory over the Raptors, who blew a 19-point first half lead, with a layup that almost caused a mini-brawl.

“I was caught in the moment.” Said Stephenson, who put up 12 points, 3 assists, 3 threes, 2 assists in his first home game with the Pacers. “I just want to say sorry to them. I didn’t mean no harm. The crowd was chanting me on and I just wanted to do it for the fans.”

He might not have intended any harm with his "for the fans" bucket but DeMar DeRozan and P.J. Tucker definitely wanted to cause some harm to him and definitely sounded like they aren’t going to accept an apology.

"Tasteless," Tucker said after the game. "Classless. There's nowhere in the league for that.

"Nobody care about his reputation. I could care less. I don’t even know who he is. He’s happy he just got back in the league."

Ouch!

"It's just being a professional." Said a less angry sounding DeMar DeRozan. "I don't care who you are or how you feel or what's going on. It's just the right way of playing basketball."

When asked what he said to Lance after the layup, DeRozan paused and smiled. A reporter responded by asking if he could give a cleaned up version of what was said. he replied, "I got fined already for the tech."

Lance’s teammate, Paul George, who scored 18 of his game-high 35 in the third quarter, admitted Lance shouldn't have made the lay-up but had some high-praise for the man called Born Ready.

"Lance knows better," he said. "That's like a cardinal rule to not lay the ball up when you up. But he did it; it's the reason why Lance is Lance. We appreciate him, man. Everything he does for this organization. He comes out here and he works his butt off."

Brooklyn legend Lance Stephenson has had a few classic moments at the annual "Battle of the Bridge" East New York Memorial Classic in the past. He added another this weekend when a fan at Brooklyn's Gersh Park called out Lance, who was there as a spectator. New York State's all-time leading scorer in high school basketball suited up for Gersh, went into the game and scored 25 points in 12 minutes against the Under The Lights Staten Island All-Star team.

After the game, UTL team congratulated Team Gersh on Twitter and made sure to point out it only happened because of Lance.

The Charlotte Bobcats brought in underrated 90's NBA star Mark Price to help with MKG's jump shot and Kemba Walker's decision making.

“When you’re smaller – and I was smaller, so I can relate – you have to be creative in how you get shots off,” Price said. “(Against) the big guys in this league, the deeper you take it the tougher it is to score in this league.”

I think Price mentoring Kemba is going to do wonders for his game but in the meantime, Kemba should be just fine with his skills when he plays alongside Lance Stephenson in streetball games like this one at Gersh Park.
