TJ Leaf stepped up in a big way on Tuesday at the Under Armour Holiday Classic held annually at Torrey Pines High School in San Diego, Ca. It seemed like it was going to be tough early on against a very pesky St Augustine squad. The game was kept close in the first quarter with guard Eric Monroe (Yale Commit) trading buckets with TJ and co. In the second quarter Foothill went on a massive run and never looked back. Jumping to a 20 point lead. In the third quarter it was much of the same, Foothill dominating the action on both ends and TJ leaf seeming to be involved in almost every play on both ends. Leaf finished with 27 points 7 rebounds 5 assists and 2 blocks while Monroe finished with 21pts for St Augustine. Guard Omaje Smith of Foothill also finished with 21 points with 7/10 on 3pt fg.
