8th Grader Skyy Clark Dominates Lucas Camp! Full Middle School Camp Highlights!

Skyy Clark was clearly the top performer we caught at Coach John Lucas' 2017 Camp Right Way Orange County.
The approx 6-foot tall Class of 2022 guard scored from all 3 levels and displayed high-level ball-handling and passing skills all weekend.
Held at the new Ladera Sports Center, many of the West Coast's top 7-8th graders went through skills training and stations before scrimmaging at night.
We thought we'd give basketball players and fans a more in-depth look at the drills and stations that players go through at Lucas' Camp.

Skyy Clark v Mike Price! Top Middle School Guards at Lucas Camp!

Skyy Clark and Mike Price were clearly 2 of the top middle school guards at Coach John Lucas' 2017 Camp Right Way Orange County.
Held at the new Ladera Sports Center, many of the West Coast's top 7-8th graders went through skills training and stations before scrimmaging at night.
The best matchup of the camp ended up being between 2 Heritage Christian teammates, Skyy Clark (considered one of the top 8th graders in the nation) and Mike Price (Chicago native now living in Southern California).

8th grader Boopie Miller Destroys Competition at John Lucas Camp Right Way!

The 2016 Camp Right Way-Chicago featured approximately 200 top 7th-8th graders from 23 states plus a few from Canada and overseas.
For 2 days Coach John Lucas and his staff guided the campers through drills as well as 5 on 5 games.

While there were many high-level, unselfish guards, there was no doubt that Kevin "Boopie" Miller stood out among the crowd.
One of only 6 Chicago players we counted at the camp, 8th grader Miller showed his point guard skills all weekend. Constantly attacking and
driving on defenders, 13 year old Miller also distributed the ball well, playing alongside Tevin Smith another elite 8th grader from Illinois.

This isn't our first time catching Boopie at Lucas Camp, we look forward to following him as he's expected to lead South Side
Providence-Englewood Elementary Charter again this school season.

6th Grade PG Boopie Miller Lights Up Lucas Camp!

Little Kevin 'Boopie' Miller caught our attention at Coach John Lucas' recent Future of the Game-Midwest Camp held in Chicago. The camp included approximately 200 of the top 5th-6th graders from across North America. There's no doubt pass-first little Boopie led the camp in assists during the games and was one of the leading scorers.
4'10 sixth grader Kevin 'Boopie' Miller is 11 years old and plays point guard at nearby Beasley Academic Center (Chicago). He averages near 18 points, 6 assists for his undefeated team. Derrick Rose also attended Beasley.
