]]>NBA2k14 released part 2 of their Michael Jordan interview called "Michael Jordan Uncensored Part 2." ?A few of the topics included his favorite Jordan sneakers and dunk, his best season, and what four players he would take to form the ultimate starting five.
He explained the significance of the #23 which was his 2nd option. ?Somehow his favorite number was also his teammate/brother's fav and since his brother was older he got the number.
Jordan also touched on the Orlando incident when he had to wear #12 but didn't make it sound like it was as big of a deal as it was. ?In 1989, Jordan’s jersey was stolen in the locker room before a game against Magic. ?The arena actually sealed off the building and searched departing employees. ?Security was so desperate to find the jersey they even took one from a kid in the crowd and checked with Jordan to see if it was his. It wasn’t, so he had to wear a nameless jersey with the #12 on it. ?The number change didn’t seem to bother MJ as he scored 49pts. After the game he said he would not sign autographs in Orlando again.

]]>Yesterday, I was equally freaked out when I saw the above next-gen pic pic of Ray Allen. I wasn't creeped out because I thought he looked like a friendly actor that wanted to murder children on a train to the north pole, I was creeped out because of how realistic they made him. I bet if that next gen Ray Allen teamed up with Zemeckis, they could pull off a better Jesus Shuttlesworth performance.
While exploring more examples of the realism of NBA2k14 I came across this video of Eric Gordon (I guess) and Anthony Davis caught in one of those awkward Kevin Love handshakes.
So here's a toast to next gen graphics and our bleak future where the next AI will end up looking like Haley Joel Osment in AI.

Don't think it's just fans that argue and whine about the ratings of players on NBA2k - a lot of players do too and have taken offense to so-and-so being ranked higher than them. Then you get people like Michael Beasley who actually thought his 78 in 2k12 was "higher than (he) thought" it would be.
A few ratings of the NBA's elite and rookies from NBA2k14 leaked and it's causing a little commotion among the basketball/gaming community. Most wont complain about the face of NBA2k4, King James, having a score of 99 but if he's 99 then should Durant be a 94? 92 for Westbrook sounds fair but does Wall at 85 and Monta at 82 sound fair then?
