Wake Forest has ANOTHER Childress On The Way! Brandon Childress Ultimate Mix!

The apple didn't fall far from the tree when Brandon Childress decided where he wanted to play collegiate ball. The younger Childress wanted to follow his father's footsteps to Wake Forest and continue the body of work his father had left before him. Many remember Randolph's epic crossover in the ACC tournament along with his smooth three point stroke that helped the Demon Deacons in the late 90's. Brandon is a 6' point guard that finished his career under former Maryland Terp. Keith Gatlin at Wesleyan Christian Academy (NC). The DMV native is your prototypical point guard that gets his teammates involved and having a 3 pt. stroke like his father doesn't hurt either. Look for the younger Childress to come in under the guidance of Danny Manning and help the Demon Deacons from Day 1. Hopefully we'll be seeing that "Childress crossover" reenacted in the near future!

Newest OKC Thunder, Victor Oladipo, came to Winston-Salem last weekend to workout with NBA All Star and LA Clipper, Chris Paul. Accompanying Paul to his annual point guard camp, Victor was able to go against some of the top high school and college guards in the country. He himself was once at this camp years ago, as an up and coming star at Indiana University. The Hoosier is now doing his thing in the NBA and hopes to make a title run with Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook next season. In the meantime, check out his highlights as he was serving up buckets to remind the kids what it truly takes to becoming successful in the NBA.

EPIC Showdown in the 919 as Garner Hosts Word of God! Full Game Recap!

Last night brought out all of Garner and south Raleigh as the Trojans of Garner High School took on the Holy Rams from Word of God. This would be an endowment game between the two schools as both left everything they had on the line. Garner was led by Thomas Allen and Andrew Abrom while the Rawle Alkins and Brandon Huffman put the Rams on their back. It was a back and forth all game all the way up until the last shot, which was ultimately missed by senior Rawle Alkins. Thomas Allen led Garner with 30 points while Alkins posted 26 in the loss. Others included in this recap are Jaylen Fornes, Blake Harris, Jalen Harris, DK Simmons, Omari Harris, Alex Reed, Nick Kuhns, and Andrew Abrom. Check out the full game highlights here!
