Here's Former Louisville commit Courtney Ramey going up against undefeated Oak Hill Academy in the semi-finals match at Bass Pro ToC. Going into the match, spectators said Webster Grove was going to lose by 20+ just because Oak Hill was the favor to win, but Webster Grove didn't let that happen at all. Ramey & Carte'Are did their best to cut the lead by 5 points and made sure nobody on their team backed down from a undefeated opponent. With the final minute winding down, Webster Grove couldn't finish some critical defensive plays and Oak Hill got the lead back up to 11 which got them the 73-62 victory.

Keldon Johnson led w/ 23 points, Will Richardson w/ 18 points, Keyontae Johnson w/12, and David McCormack w/ 11 points.

Courtney Ramey finished w/ 23 points, 6 assists & 1 block. Carte'Are w/ 18 points & 1 block.

Oak Hill will face off La Lumiere in the Championship at Bass Pro ToC.

The Ballislife Fab 50 rankings done by Ronnie Flores just named Oak Hill their new no. 1 in the rankings this week. Last night the Warriors opened their season on the road against Word of God Christian Academy at the Phenom National Showcase and they backed up their new status as no. 1. Led by seniors Matt Coleman, Billy Preston, Tyshon Alexander, and Devontae Shuler, the Warriors had to claw their way back into the game as they faced a deficit until the fourth quarter. Word of God was led by UW commit Blake Harris and UNC commit Brandon Huffman as they continually found each other for a big-time dunk. Word of God came out on fire as they were led by Evan Johnson and Max Farthing, nailing three after three to give the Holy Rams an early lead. Harry Giles ("HG") is a 6'10" man-child from Winston-Salem, NC where he spent most of his high school career at Wesleyan Christian Academy in High Point, NC. At Wesleyan, HG won a state championship alongside teammate and current UNC wing, Theo Pinson, even though HG missed most of the season with a torn left knee. Currently a 225 pound, 18-year-old freshman at Duke University, Giles will likely be the next in line of one-and-done candidates for Mike Krzyzewski. Before committing to Duke, Giles attended Oak Hill Academy but hurt his right knee during the first scrimmage of the season and returned home to finish his high school near family. HG is a super skilled big-man with the frame and athleticism that should separate him in his match-ups, especially towards the end of the ACC season. More than just a basketball players, HG is a great person too; always taking opportunities to help and connect with the youth in our communities. If Giles stays injury free this season, don't be surprised to see him come across Freshman of the Year honors or even mess around with ACC Player of the Year. A lot of time and a lot left to play out, check out what all the hype is about!
