Miles Bridges is known for his unique athleticism and in-game dunks. Last year as an incoming freshman, Miles Bridges drew the biggest crowds ever to the Moneyball Pro Am near Lansing Michigan.
On opening night, even with expanded seating, it was standing room only to watch Michigan State sophomore and his team versus Kay Felder and company. MSU fans were out in full force!
Miles Bridges thrilled the crowd with his anklebreaker as well as his full arsenal of dunks including a windmill and fierce tip dunk to open the game!

Flint Michigan native Miles Bridges finished with 33 points.

Milwaukee Bucks' Jabari Parker last played in Chicago's Nike Chi League Pro Am 2 years ago heading into his rookie NBA season. Now a vet, Jabari returned to his hometown for this weekend's Chi League Classic (2-day event) playing in front of countless friends, family, teammates and fans.

In front of a capacity crowd (free admission) at sweltering Whitney Young High School (no air conditioning) on the city's near west side, Jabari scored 31 and hauled in 10+ rebounds as his dad Sonny's Team Parker won it's first game.

Kentucky point guard Tyler Ulis Spent His Summer Breaking Ankles at Chileague!

Kentucky point guard Tyler Ulis put on a show in front of family and friends, playing in the Nike Chi League Pro Am over the past few weeks.

Home in the Chicago area over the summer, Ulis played 3 games with Meanstreets, leading them to 2 wins and 1 narrow semi-final loss at Chicago's premiere summer basketball tournament. Over 3 intense games, the 5'9 point guard averaged 18.3 points, 3.7 assists, 3 rebounds, 1.3 steals, going 18-21 from the free throw line (85.7%).

Tyler was fearless at both ends of the floor playing against seasoned, current overseas pros and D League players, some with NBA experience. He was a calm, vocal leader on the floor while still thrilling the raucous crowds with his elite ball-handling and passing skills.

Still just 19 years old, Tyler always seemed to find the open man down the court. Doubts will always linger about Ulis' size but Kentucky fans and teammates don't doubt their point guard. Big Blue Nation fans will be pleased to see their unselfish leader having such success in his summer mixtape, playing alongside many new and unfamiliar teammates.

Now Ulis is ready to return to Lexington to lead the Kentucky Wildcats.

This is Chicago summer basketball.
For the first time in recent memory, the visiting South Side All-Stars (from Time 2 Shine Pro-Am Summer League) faced off against Chicago’s West Side All-Stars (from West Haven Safe Summer League) at Phoenix Military Academy on Chicago’s West Side.
As you will see, the lineups were stacked and the atmosphere was electric.
The South Side Team featured #7 Osiris Eldridge (NBDL), #11 Bobby Simmons (Clippers), Dexter Williams (Kings), #2 Jeremy Pargo (Grizzlies), as well as #10 Jerome Randle (Cal) and #6 Stefphon Hannah (Missou). But it was the undersized home team (West) who won big. Standouts included #3 David Bailey (Loyola), local favorite #5 Tony Bennett (Bradley), #4 Sherron Collins (Kansas), #2 Emmanuel Little (Euro Pro) and #8 Tyrone Kent (Toldeo) who was on fire throughout the game.
The West Side (Orange uniform) won by a final score of 103 – 71.
Thanks to Commissioner Lefty B. Boyd and everyone at West Haven Safe Summer League.

The marquee matchup of the night pitted current Detroit Pistons 6’0 Will Bynum (Chicago Crane HS Class of 2001) versus local favorite 5’7 point guard Derrick Randolph, who just finished high school.
In the end Bynum’s team won by a narrow margin but Randolph made a big statement off his team’s bench.
