EJ Liddell is just a junior but he's considered one of the top high school basketball players in Illinois after a strong AAU season (with Brad Beal's team on the Nike circuit)
6'7 Liddell led all scorers with 35 points in his Belleville West's 85-65 win vs College Prep (Texas) at the Washington Tournament of Champions near Peoria, IL.
Liddell also finished with 8 rebounds and 4 blocks. Belleville teammate Keith Randolph added 16 points, 12 rebounds.
Belleville's opponent from Texas, 5-star Kansas Jayhawks commit, 6'5 combo guard Quentin Grimes showed some 5-star moves on offense. Grimes finished with 23 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, 4 blocks.
Shannon Scott added 16 points.
