Seth Curry was a guest on Chris Broussard's 'In The Zone' podcast and talked a little about him and a whole lot about his brother: Does Steph inspire you? Have you ever beat Steph one-on-one? What's Steph's range on the court? Can you be as good as Steph? Have you thought about teaming up with Steph? How similar are you and Steph off the court? How tough was the loss in the finals for Steph? How many posters of Steph do you have on your bedroom walls. I made the last one up but the other questions were discussed. And they weren't discussed in an ass-kissing way that I just jokingly made it sound. It's actually a pretty interesting conversation worth listening to.

My favorite part of the conversation is when Seth discussed having a Dad in the NBA and telling an amusing story about him at the age of 10 in 5th grade and Steph (around 7th or 8th grade) playing in shooting games with the Toronto Raptors around 2000.

"He brought us around all the time and sometimes they would let us jump in shoot around games. We had Vince Carter, Tracy McGrady, Mugsy Bogues, and we were still some of the best shooters in the gym when it came to spot shooting.

"We could shoot threes. When you would pick teams in shooting games, we would be one of the top picks. We were getting picked before NBA players, before some of the big men got picked. I mean, we could shoot it."

And they can still shoot a little. Seth averaged a career-high 12.8 points a game thias past season, while shooting a career-best 48% from the field and 85% from the free throw line. He also averaged career highs in assists (2.7) and rebounds (2.5).

Breaking and shocking news: DeMarcus Cousins doesn't agree with Coach George Karl.  I'm assuming you know that. And after the Kings destroyed the Mavs on Sunday, Cousins interrupted a postgame interview with new starter Seth Curry, fresh off of scoring 14 points, and said, "You going to be in this league a long time boy. Remember that, a long time!"

The comment by Boogie is most likely a reference to George Karl recently saying Curry is "going to be around for a couple of years. He's definitely going to have a few more years of someone; I think we have him for one more year."

Due to a bunch of Kings' injuries, Karl has given Curry 20+ minutes in the past two Kings games - both wins - and he's responded with 12 and 14 points. In the other 2 games of 20+ minutes in the past 2 months, Curry had 11 and 19 points.

"I think he's going to have a bright future, hard worker, never gets down on himself, he's a confident player." Said Boogie after Friday's win. "The biggest thing is he's a hard worker so I think he'll always have a spot in this league."

Rondo also had some positive things to say about Curry.

"Seth is a hard worker, hard work always pays off. He's definitely a ... shooter, he can pass the ball, he can do a lot of things. He had a couple tear drops that was nice tonight as well so sky's the limit for Seth. He's young and like I said, the way he works you never know what he can do."

After tearing up the Summer League, which included a game where he scored 21 2nd half points against his brother's team, the newest member of the Sacramento Kings, Seth Curry, paid a visit to the Drew League and lit up the competition for 20 points in a half! ?He was so hot that after falling into the opposing team's bench after a made 3, the opponents helped him up and fanned him with their towels to cool him off.

Unfortunately for Team Tradition, Curry's teammates weren't so hot and only scored a total of 6 points on 3 of 20 shooting in that same half.

Curry finished the game with 26 points as his team lost to Team C.O.A 66-60.
