Cowan played on the Adidas Circuit this past spring with the DC Thunder as he established himself as one of the top half court PG's in the country. Last night gave us the FAB50 East Coast Matchup of the Week as the no. 7 Cadets of St. Johns traveled to face off against no. 10 Gonzaga College High. Going into the game, the most talked about matchup would be at the point guard spot between senior Anthony Cowan and junior Chris Lykes. This game was a back and forth battle as every WCAC game has been this season. Ultimately it was seniors Anthony Cowan (UMD commit) and Khalia Sykes (27 points) that help lead the way for the Cadets as they took down Gonzaga.
