]]>The two wins in Chicago put The Crew's record at 33-5, but their season isn’t over just yet.
Sitting at No. 6 in the latest FAB 50 National Team Rankings powered by www.ebooksnet.com, the Prolific Prep Crew is Indianapolis bound for the Chipotle High School Nationals (April 4-6), where they’ll be matched up against FAB 50 No. 11 Link Academy (Branson, Mo.) in the opening round. While many are already looking forward to that, let’s focus on the outstanding performances that many of the Prolific players and others had to wrap up the Grind Session season.
Here are the top performers from the Grind Session World Championship Final Four:
A.J. Dybantsa, 6’8, SF/PF, Prolific Prep (CA), 2025
The top junior in the nation showed that he is just beginning to scratch the surface with his immense bag of talents, pacing Prolific Prep to the Grind Session World Championship with 24 points and eight boards in the title game. While his outside shot wasn’t falling at his typical rate, Dybantsa impacted the game in different ways, utilizing his size on both ends of the court. The USA Basketball gold medalist exploited mismatches by posting smaller defenders, was a beast on the offensive glass, and showed immense potential on the defensive end. A.J. will be running with Vegas Elite for his final season on the AAU circuit and will undoubtedly have all eyes on him for the remainder of his high school career.
Tyran Stokes, 6’7, SF/PF, Prolific Prep (CA), 2026
Considered by many to be the top player in the class of 2026, Tyran Stokes proved that he could be a remarkably effective player with limited touches at the Grind Session World Championship. The Louisville product was great on the offensive glass keeping plays alive, scoring within the flow of the offense, and facilitating for others. The 18 points, nine rebounds, six assists, and three blocks that Stokes finished with in the championship game don't even begin to show the overall impact that he had on the game.
Ikenna Alozie, 6’2, PG, Dream City Christian, (AZ), 2026
While Dream City Christian came up short to Prolific in the title game, it certainly has nothing to do with the play of Ikenna Alozie. The sophomore dropped 29 points, seven rebounds, five assists, and four steals, leaving everyone on notice that he is one of the better guards in the class of 2026. Ike used his strong frame and length to play unreal on ball defense, was a freakish shot blocker as a guard, and was elite finishing at the rim through contact. As Alozie’s 3-point shot continues to gain consistency, we will see him push his way up to five star status.
Emmanuel Stephen, 7’0, C, Dream City Christian (AZ), 2024
An absolutely massive individual, Emmanuel Stephen was the physical enforcer on both ends of the court for Dream City Christian. He used his ridiculous frame to carve out position deep in the paint, was great using his size to wall up as a rim protector, and dunked virtually everything that he got in the three second area. Heading to Arizona next year, “E-Man” is everything you look for out of a big as a rim protector and lob threat.
Sean Blake, 6’2, PG, Royal Crown Institute (CAN), 2024
A player I hadn't seen before, Sean Blake left it all on the floor and showed that he belonged against Grind Session champion Prolific Prep. The Canadian lead guard got into the paint at will, was excellent converting with creativity at the rack with both hands, and was the overall catalyst for Royal Crown with his 21- point, 5-assist showing versus Prolific Prep. Heading to Vermont next year, Blake is another key addition to the America East champs who took on Duke in the first round of the NCAA tournament.
Winters Grady, 6’6, SF, Prolific Prep (CA), 2025
The best junior prospect in the state of Oregon made local headlines when he was going to initially transfer from Lake Oswego to Tualtin before ultimately ending up at Prolific Prep. The move paid off for Grady, as he walked away with a Grind Session World Championship and firmly established himself as a top-100 player in the process. Winters is a versatile wing with deep 3-point range, provides a presence as a rebounder, and finds a way to make an impact on the game with minimal plays being ran for him. Since Grady emerged at the 2023 Crossroads Elite Invitational, he has quickly become a priority for numerous high major programs throughout the country.

]]>Here are a few of the standouts from the Crush In The Valley II:
Tyran Stokes, 6’7, SF/PF, Prolific Prep (CA), 2026
Considered by many to be the top sophomore in the nation, Tyran Stokes did everything in his power to live up to his lofty reputation and more throughout Prolific Prep’s undefeated weekend in Napa. Stokes was a more confident 3-point shooter than the last time we seen him, killed defenders with his ridiculously explosive first step, and was more engaged as an on ball defender than our last evaluation. The Louisville native leads The Grind Session in efficiency and has done everything in his power to hold on to that No. 1 spot in the class of 2026.
Jayden Williams, 6’9, C, Bella Vista Prep (AZ), 2024
Sometimes there are players that are hidden in plain sight, and Jayden Williams is definitely one of those guys. Williams is a much more confident scorer with his back to the basket, is great playing out of the dunker as a lob threat, and offers so much on defense containing perimeter/as a shot blocker. An incredibly heralded player early in his career, Williams made the move to Overtime Elite and it was almost as if people forgot about how special of a prospect he was. There aren’t many better available big men in the late signing period than Jayden Williams.
A.J. Dybantsa, 6’8, SF, Prolific Prep (CA), 2025
The No. 1 player in the class of 2025 didn’t force the issue at all over the weekend for Prolific Prep, letting his offense come to him within the flow of the game and showing the immense versatility that he offers as a new age forward. Able to play inside and out, Dybansta was an outstanding offensive rebounder, ran the floor exceptionally well, and impacted the game on both ends with his combination of length and athleticism. The pride of Brockton, Mass., already has a NIL deal with Nike and is sitting at fourth in The Grind Session Power Conference in scoring.
Aliou Dioum, 6’10, PF, Accelerated Prep (CO), 2026
It has been a coming out party of sorts in The Grind Session season for Aliou Dioum, Colorado’s top prospect in the class of 2026. The Senegalese big man finished above the rim in traffic, showed a super soft touch out to the 3-point line, and was outstanding as a rim protector. Dioum’s 27-point, 19-rebound, 5-block performance emphasized why Georgia and Georgia Tech put scholarships on the table for him so early in the process.
Z.Z. Clark, 6’3, PG/SG, DNA Prep (CA), 2024
There have been a number of people who forgot about Z.Z. Clark, but the former Illinois commit certainly reminded everyone that he’s one of the better scoring combo guards still left on the west coast with his play at The Grind Session. Clark was outstanding in pick and roll play, was a threat to score anytime that he had the rock in his hands, and got it done from both backcourt spots equally well. The younger brother of Louisville point guard Skyy Clark played last season with Overtime Elite, but proved that he belongs in The Grind Session with his 36-point, 11-rebound, 4-assist performance against Bella Vista Prep.
Khaman Maker, 7’2, C, SFBA Trinity Prep (NV), 2024
The biggest player in the Grind Session made a big impact on the game, and that was Khaman Maker. The defensive minded big man from Sudan had double doubles in both of Trinity’s games over the weekend while adding four blocks in each outing. Maker isn’t one to force the issue offensively, but made a number of tough catches around the rim and finished over top of the defense. Naturally, the biggest impact that he made on the game was as a rim protector, as he leads the Grind Session in blocked shots per game (4.7 blocks per game) and made defenders think twice when attacking the rim.

]]>The post Nike EYBL Session II Underclass Standouts! appeared first on www.ebooksnet.com.
]]>There was no shortage of battles amidst the underclassmen, especially at the top of the 2025 and 2026 groups. Cameron Boozer and Cooper Flagg are in constant debate for the top player in 2025, whereas A.J. Dybantsa and Tyran Stokes are 1A and 1B in 2026
With this being the first time that many D1 coaches laid eyes on some of the younger prospects in the flesh, there were no shortage of players who exploded, as well as those who cemented themselves amongst the elite in their respective classes. Here are a few of the aforementioned underclassmen who caught our eye:
A.J. Dybantsa, 6'8, PF/SF, Expressions 17U, 2026
It’s truly rare that you see a freshman dominating the EYBL, but Dybantsa is doing that, sitting second in 17U in scoring at 20.4 PPG after two sessions. The 6-foot-8 do-it-all forward uses his powerfully built frame through contact, offers potential as a versatile defender, and has developed much more confidence as a 3-point shooter (34.1 % 3PT). Touted by ESPN as the #1 player in 2026, there has already been considerable chatter in regards to Dybantsa landing in the class of 2025.
Cameron Boozer, 6'9, PF, Nightrydas 16U, 2025
Considered by most to be the top player in the class of 2025, Boozer brought the combination of production and winning culture to justify his lofty ranking. Leading the E16 in both scoring (27.1 PPG) and rebounding (12.5 RPG), Boozer is simply putting up video game numbers across the board. His .784 FG percentage and .480 3-point percentage make you think they are typos. The inside/out game that Boozer offers, his willingness to get others involved, and his continual team success (undefeated in EYBL, back to back state titles at Columbus HS, etc) place him at top of the class.
Cooper Flagg, 6'9, PF, Maine United 16U, 2025
Maine’s finest has lived up to his lofty reputation in the EYBL, tying Boozer for first in scoring at 27.1 PPG and drawing no shortage of onlookers in the process. The new age forward scored at all three levels, did a great job of utilizing mismatches with his size, and was at many times the team’s facilitator offensively. Flagg certainly lived up to the hype and reminded coaches, scouts, and fans alike that he is one of the best players in high school basketball regardless of class.
Tyran Stokes, 6'7, SF/PF, Vegas Elite 17U, 2026
The leading scorer (14.3 PPG) for the only defeated squad left in 17U play (Vegas Elite is 8-0), Stokes showed that he has no problem making his impact felt against older foes. The Louisville native is simply unstoppable in transition, can defend a multitude of positions, and kept countless plays alive with his activity on both ends. The ability for Stokes to acclimate to whatever situation he’s put in on the hardwood is one of the virtues that make him one of the truly special prospects in the class of 2026.
Darius Acuff, 6’1, PG, The Family 17U, 2025
Acuff Jr. left Phoenix was one of the hottest players in the class of 2025, earning offers from the likes of Kentucky, Kansas, Michigan State, and a host of others after his monster 30-point performance against MOKAN. The sophomore playmaker is great in pick and roll play, utilizes different speeds exceptionally well, and can finish through contact. Fresh off of both a Detroit PSL championship and state title with Cass Tech, Acuff is the next gritty guard from the Motor City that you’ll catch at a power 5 school.
Marcus Johnson, 6'2, PG/SG, Spiece Indy Heat 15U, 2025
Next up in the Garfield Heights (OH) pipeline is Johnson, an elite shot creator from Cleveland. The lefty is elite at creating separation off of the bounce, is a threat to score every time that he has the ball in his hands, and has made serious strides as a creator for others. The son of former Ohio Mr. Basketball Sonny Johnson picked up high major offers from LSU and Ohio State in the days following EYBL Phoenix.
A’Mare Bynum, 6’8, PF, Mokan Elite 16U, 2025
Bynum certainly isn’t the flashiest in the EYBL, but he’s the type of old school no nonsense player who is simply going to win you games. The long armed forward punished defenders in the paint with his ability to finish through contact, controlled the glass, and showed nice vision when hit with doubles. It wasn’t just me who saw the potential and upside that Bynum offers, as both Cal and Nebraska put scholarships on the table for him over the past few days.
Desmond Bellot, 6’2, PG/SG, Expressions Elite 15U, 2026
A versatile guard, Bellot showed that he could play either backcourt spot equally well for Expressions Elite throughout the E15 session. Playing varsity basketball since he was 13 years old, Desmond shows an IQ of someone well beyond his years, knows how to finish with contact in the paint, and was outstanding in collapsing defense. Bellot is still flying a bit under the radar nationally, but has established himself as a well-known commodity in the Northeast.
