Another shooting involving Tekashi 6ix9ine?

Never mind, I heard headlines about "shootouts" and the rapper's name and thought he was either taking shots at another rapper or linked to another shooting.

What people were really talking about was the rapper having a shootout with part-time singer Victor Oladipo and somehow making shots with a shooting form that would make Lonzo Ball leave his hand up and say "so pretty" like Wesley Snipes in White Men Can't Jump.

Speaking of jumping, this is him almost getting posterized by the guy who put on a Black Panther mask in this year's NBA Dunk Contest.

This isn't the first time we shook our heads at the sight of 6ix9ine shooting hoops. Back in February, he posted a video of him beating Tory Lanez one-on-one (supposedly for $20,000) with this caption:

“Played a random fan yesterday it was cool. We took the W that’s all that matters. My team played aggressive we knew we were playing a good team. It’s not about me we all had a role and we stuck to it. We’re just going to try and get better as a team that’s all we can do. I love how the ball movement went today it was smove if we can continue to move like that I can see us doing really good. Just maintain to be focus and get ready to be on the road for our next game. Thank you everyone see u next game.”

Less than 30 minutes after the end of Game 7 between the Pacers and Cavs and the end of Victor Oladipo's All-NBA worthy season, the Pacers All-Star texted his trainer, "When do we start? I"m ready to take it to another level."

He then got dressed and let the media know there's "no days off" on his calendar.

"I don't know how to take time off. I had somebody tell me 'take a break and enjoy your life.' This is my life."

Less than 30 minutes after the postgame interview, he was in the gym lifting weights!

I made up the last part about hitting the gym but I wouldn't be surprised if someone told me he really did this. Or any of those crazy drills with the ImPossible Training guys. Or whatever he did to make his body transform the way it did last summer.

The motivation behind his transformation in the summer of 2017 was hearing people say "Westbrook has no help" for an entire season.

“It’s going to be a very relentless summer,” Oladipo told NBA.com after his frustrating year with OKC. “I just use it as motivation, and I’m going to come back better.”

Better is an understatement. He put up career-best numbers (23.1 PTS, 5.2 REBS, 4.3 ASTS and a league-leading 2.4 STLS), made the All-Star team, will make an All-NBA team and probably get some MVP votes.

I can't wait to see the results of the work he's going to put in this summer. In the meantime, let's check out some past footage of him working out.

I wonder if he will have time this summer to (windmill!) dunk on high school basketball campers or make any new music.

Was LeBron's game-saving block before his buzzer-beating game-winner in Game 5 a goaltend?

He admitted it was....according to LeBronologist Brian Windhorst, who tweeted his favorite player saying, "I definitely thought it was a goaltend. Of course."

LeBron really doesn't think his defensive play on Oladipo was a goaltend. That tweet cut off the King saying, "No, of course I didn't think it was a goaltend. I try to make plays like that all of the time. He made a heck of a move, got me leaning right and he went left and I just tried to use my recovery speed and get back up there and make a play on the ball and I was able to make a play."

As for Oladipo, here's what he had to say about LeBron giving him that Iguodala playoff treatment.

"I got a step on him, and I felt I even got grabbed on the way to the rim. Tried to shoot a layup. It hit the backboard then he blocked it. Replays I guess you can see. I guess it was a tough play at the time for him but It was a goaltend. It's hard to even speak on it. It just sucks. Honestly, it really sucks."

Oladipo's teammate and LeBron nemesis Lance Stephenson agreed.

"Of course. I think it was goaltending. We should have got the refs attention and told him. I don't know what to say about that. Look at the replay. Clearly a goaltending. I'm disappointed but hey, we got to take care of home."

Unfortunately for the Pacers, the play wasn't reviewed and they are now one game away from fishing trips...and whatever Lance does in the summer.

Did Victor Oladipo push off on this "anklebreaker" or did Austin Rivers flop? Regardless if Dipo got away with a MJ or if Rivers tried to pull a Daniel Day-Lewis, the refs didn't blow the whistle and the bucket counted.

Dipo continued his hot shooting (18-of-26 over his last two games) and finished with 30 points (11-17 FG), a season-high 12 assists and 5 steals in the Pacers 16-point comeback win against the Clippers. That stat line made him the first in franchise-history to rack up 30 points, 10 assists and 5 steals in a game. That stat line also helped give the team their fifth win in a row.

"We are trying to be a great team, not a good team," Said Oladipo after the victory.

As for Rivers, he played well with 18 points and a team-high 7 assists after going 1-of-8 in his last game.

Victor Oladipo was a highlight machine during Thursday's USA Basketball showcase game. The former NBA dunk contest contestant scored 25 points, grabbed 9 rebounds, dished out 5 assists, had 2 steals and 2 great plays on the man who beat him out for the Rookie of the Year award: Michael-Carter Williams.

The first play came with 3:50 minutes left in the 4th as Victor did a crossover and pulled up for a 3 in MCW's face. Then a minute later, he crossed MCW again and went down the middle for a dunk that had the bench on a woman behind the basket going crazy. It was almost a scene out of the new Kevin Durant/Zach LaVine Footlocker commercial "Eruption."  Oladipo then put the cherry on top of the highlight by celebrating with a little shimmy that would make Antoine Walker (happy belated birthday) proud.

Oladipo also had a 360 earlier in the game which was nice but not as nice as his off the wall 360 in practice.

Cool, but let's take a few more looks at his cross and dunk on MCW again.

After the dunk Oladipo asked Blake Griffin if it was going to be on Sportscenter and Blake replied "yeah, it's going to be on Top 10."

New Griz Jeff Green could have had a Scottie Pippen over Patrick Ewing moment but instead went with the Iverson step over Tyronne Lue moment.

In the 3rd quarter of Memphis' win over the Orlando Magic on Friday, Jeff Green scored 2 of his team-high 21 points on a dunk on Victor Oladipo which knocked Dipo to the ground.  Green gave him a quick stare and then stepped over his legs the way Iverson did Lue in the NBA finals. He could have walked all the way over Ewing the way Pip did in the playoffs but you all remember how mad Ewing got.
