Check out highlights from Wesleyan Christian Academy led by seniors Jaylen Hoard and Aaron Wiggins from their two games this past weekend. Hoard is a 6'8" forward committed to Wake Forest by way of France. Wiggins is a 6'6" shooting guard committed to Maryland next season. Helping them towards their title run this season will be twin-tranfers and Virginia Tech commits Keyshaun and Kobe Langley. Junior Shawn Walker Jr. is the last piece to a potentially scary "starting 5."

Frenchman Jaylen Hoard Is Wesleyan's New X-Factor!! 3 Game Mix!

After losing 4 division 1 signed seniors from last year's team (Parker, Johnson, Buckland, Childress), Keith Gatlin and the Wesleyan Trojans had to find some new talent to help lead their depleted squad. Enter 6'8" Frenchman Jaylen Hoard. Hoard is the son of a former college/pro player and possesses the skill to become an even better player than his father. Coming from France, our first look at him this year was at the UA Elite 24 where he showed he was capable of hanging with some of the nation's top high school players. His shot extends out to the 3 point stripe, he's able to put the ball on the floor, and very skilled when it comes to finishing around the rim and off the glass. Hoard is currently ranked 23rd in the 24/7 Composite Ranking and as high as 8th according to Evan Daniels of Scout.com. He currently has offers from California, OK State, Wake Forest, Washington, and interest from schools such as Arizona, Duke, and Kansas. Here is a 3 game mix from their games these past 4 days. Wake Forest has ANOTHER Childress On The Way! Brandon Childress Ultimate Mix!

The apple didn't fall far from the tree when Brandon Childress decided where he wanted to play collegiate ball. The younger Childress wanted to follow his father's footsteps to Wake Forest and continue the body of work his father had left before him. Many remember Randolph's epic crossover in the ACC tournament along with his smooth three point stroke that helped the Demon Deacons in the late 90's. Brandon is a 6' point guard that finished his career under former Maryland Terp. Keith Gatlin at Wesleyan Christian Academy (NC). The DMV native is your prototypical point guard that gets his teammates involved and having a 3 pt. stroke like his father doesn't hurt either. Look for the younger Childress to come in under the guidance of Danny Manning and help the Demon Deacons from Day 1. Hopefully we'll be seeing that "Childress crossover" reenacted in the near future!

Kwe Parker WINS City of Palms Dunk Contest with PERFECT SCORE!

Last year Kwe Parker gave the crowd a tease of what he could do on the court. This year, the high-flying Tennessee commit SHUT DOWN the City of Palms Dunk Contest with six ridiculous dunks! He started off with the "John Wall" dunk performed by Wall himself in the NBA All Star Dunk Contest. It was his signature "Scoop" dunk that had the crowd jump out of their seats!

Wesleyan Christian Academy has been a long stronghold in the NCISAA but this year High Point Christian is looking to change that. With the additions of Bam Adebayo, Ty Graves (BC commit), Jalen Seegars, and Michael Huiett Jr.; the Cougars have a roster that'll compete with any team in the nation. The Trojans will be led by Wake Forest commit Brandon Childress and recent Vols commit Jalen Johnson. Pair them with the high-flying Kwe Parker and sharp shooting David Caraher and they've got the roster to make another title appearance. Here's a preview of their teams from preseason open gym runs!
