We recently had the opportunity to sit down with respected individuals in various roles and talk about the state of the high school and grassroots game. We interviewed respected national talent evaluators (Jerry Meyer<\/a>\u00a0of 247Sports.com,\u00a0Clark Francis<\/a>\u00a0of the Hoop Scoop,\u00a0Joel Francisco<\/a>\u00a0of ESPN.com), a shoe company national manager (Tony Dorado<\/a>\u00a0of Nike), college coaches (Pepperdine University assistant\u00a0John Impleman<\/a>\u00a0and Santa Clara University assistant\u00a0Mike Peck<\/a>), a young high school coach (former UNLV guard\u00a0Justin Hawkins<\/a>\u00a0from Liberty of Henderson, Nev.) and a state title-winning high school coach (former Clemson guard\u00a0Lou Richie<\/a>\u00a0from Bishop O'Dowd of Oakland, Calif.).<\/strong><\/p>\n
