Kingdom Summer League Week 3 Re-Cap<\/span><\/h2>\n

Bexley Car Care<\/strong>: 104<\/em>
\nHype 614:<\/strong> 75<\/em><\/p>\n

Bexley Car Care flexed their muscles as they powered over and through Hype 614. What started out as a close contest became a laugher by halftime. Kaleb Wesson led the way scoring 25 points<\/strong><\/em> from various spots on the floor. Andre Wesson added 15 points<\/strong> <\/em>in a supporting role. Hype 614 was once again led by Desmond Claude (Xavier University)<\/strong> <\/em>who scored 26 points. Bexley Car Care moves to 2-1 while Hype 614 falls to 1-2,<\/em><\/p>\n

Player of the Game: Kaleb Wesson<\/em><\/h3>\n

Buckeye Prep:<\/strong> 117<\/em>
\nReitano SportsCenter:<\/strong> 83<\/em><\/p>\n

Buckeye Prep was firing on all cylinders as they destroyed<\/em> <\/strong>Reitano SportsCenter. Buckeye Prep was led in scoring by Wendell Davis (32 points)<\/strong><\/em> but it was the performance of Jared Sullinger that fueled the force.<\/strong><\/em> In his season debut Sullinger had 25 pts, 16 rebounds and 12 assists for a triple double.<\/em> Outmanned and overmatched<\/strong> <\/em>Reitano was led by Tre Baumgartner who scored 32 points<\/strong><\/em>. Buckeye Prep climbs out of the basement and improves to 1-2. Reitano falls to 1-2.<\/em><\/p>\n

Player of the Game: Jared Sullinger<\/em><\/h3>\n

4DEEP:<\/strong> 106<\/em>
\nMcGlade Max Pro<\/strong>: 85<\/em><\/p>\n

Billed as the Game of the Week<\/strong> <\/em>it turned out to be everything but that. Trey Burke<\/strong><\/em> made his season debut in the Kingdom in a spectacular splash. Burke scored 28 points and dealt out 6 assists.<\/strong> <\/em>He was backed up by CJ Penha with 22 points<\/strong><\/em> and the versatile Morgan Safford with 16 points<\/strong> <\/em>and 3 steals. Simon Wheeler (Ashland University) made his debut in the Kingdom with a few amazing high-level plays as the rich got a little richer. McGlade Max Pro was led by newcomer Christian Lutete who plays professionally for Bashkimi Prizren of the Kosovo Super League, with 28 points<\/strong><\/em>. 4DEEP remained as the only unbeaten team moving to 3-0, while McGlade Max Pro falls 2-1.<\/em><\/p>\n

Player of the Game: Trey Burke<\/em><\/h3>\n

\nFuture:<\/strong> 78<\/em><\/p>\n

The defending champions outscored Future 26 to 10 in the third quarter<\/strong><\/em> to overcome a 3 point halftime deficit. Travis Trice<\/strong> <\/em>aka The General scored 32 points<\/em> and Jd Weatherspoon Jr added 21<\/strong><\/em> as Committed to my Craft continues to ramp up their performances. Future was led by Sahmi Willoughby (Marietta University) with 15 points. Committed to my Craft improves to 2-1 while Future falls to 0-3.<\/em><\/p>\n
