{"id":44688,"date":"2013-07-19T13:40:25","date_gmt":"2013-07-19T13:40:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bilcomprd.wpengine.com\/?p=44688"},"modified":"2023-11-21T13:14:57","modified_gmt":"2023-11-21T21:14:57","slug":"is-510-sir-issac-the-highest-jumping-dunker-in-the-world","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ballislife.com\/is-510-sir-issac-the-highest-jumping-dunker-in-the-world\/","title":{"rendered":"Is 5'10\" Sir Issac the \"highest jumping dunker in the world?\""},"content":{"rendered":"<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/video\/embed?video_id=10151720531038007\" height=\"480\" width=\"625\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>I had the pleasure of joining former NBA dunk champion Jeremy Evans, Dunk legend Darryl Dawkins and dunk phenom Myree \"Reemix\" Bowden\" as a judge for the Dallas Sprite Showdown contest this past weekend. \u00a0Besides convincing Jeremy Evans to be the Russian Judge, the highlight of the event was watching arguably the best dunker in the world (Kenny Dobbs) face off against arguably the highest jumping dunker in the world (<a href=\"https:\/\/ballislife.com\/510-sir-isaac-shuts-down-the-2013-houston-rockets-blacktop-dunk-contest\/\">Issac White aka Sir Issac<\/a>). \u00a0Kenny Dobbs, who won the <a href=\"https:\/\/ballislife.com\/the-best-contest-dunk-by-the-best-contest-dunker-in-the-best-dunk-contest-where-is-the-love\/\">2012 Showdown finals at All-Star weekend with a blindfolded between the legs dunk over 3 people<\/a>, left with another trophy and check to add to his dunk showcase but Houston dunker Sir Issac made the most noise that day especially with a between the legs over a person elbow dunk that was so powerful that it caused a screw to pop out of the rim.<\/p>\n<p>This would be Issac's 4th time competing in the contest and amazingly his fourth time finishing second. \u00a0Issac isn't doing anything wrong in the contest. His problem is he keeps showing up to contests where near unbeatable legends show up. \u00a0He lost to <a href=\"https:\/\/ballislife.com\/countdown-to-showdown-air-up-there-impresses-drake-lebron-and-you\/\">Air Up There in a contest that Vince Carter in his prime could not of won.<\/a> He lost to <a href=\"https:\/\/ballislife.com\/62-werm-crazy-360-cradle-dunk-shuts-down-charlotte-sprite-slam-dunk-showdown\/\">Werm who has won 4 times in 4 different cities<\/a> and this time he lost to internationally known and Red Bull commercial star Kenny Dobbs.<\/p>\n<p>Issac isn't internationally known yet but if you ask anybody that plays ball in Houston Texas they can tell you about how they saw the 5'10\" freak posterize somebody at a local court and the following video is a sample of posters that Houstonians have been seeing for a while (skip to the to the 40 second mark to see some nasty posters).<\/p>\n<div class=\"omc-video-container\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" style=\"width:100%; height: 100%\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/pZdFc-51OvU\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen width=\"600\" height=\"420\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>I don't know if he is the \"highest jumping dunker in the world\" but on this day even the Russian judge had a hard time arguing against the claim.<\/p>\n<div class=\"omc-video-container\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" style=\"width:100%; height: 100%\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/sLmoG6uz7ww\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen width=\"600\" height=\"420\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ballislife.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/578948_516087855100283_600740476_n.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-44702\" alt=\"578948_516087855100283_600740476_n\" src=\"https:\/\/ballislife.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/578948_516087855100283_600740476_n.jpg\" width=\"752\" height=\"604\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ballislife.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/sirissac.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-44689\" alt=\"sirissac\" src=\"https:\/\/ballislife.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/sirissac.jpg\" width=\"396\" height=\"603\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I had the pleasure of joining former NBA dunk champion Jeremy Evans, Dunk legend Darryl Dawkins and dunk&hellip; <\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":28,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[8316,1444,28,41,23],"tags":[4903],"featured":[],"class_list":["post-44688","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-articles","category-all-blogs","category-dunk-contests","category-streetball-dunks","category-video","tag-sir-issac"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v23.4 -
