The 6'3 sophomore combo guard led his Willowbrook HS team on a remarkable 19-game turnaround from last season to its first conference title since 1972 (21-8).<br \/>\nAveraging 30+points during a late-season 15-game win streak (VIDEO), Verge truly burst onto the scene. Hitting several dramatic game winning shots with several 40+point games, the Chicago hoops community took notice and crowds showed up to see the exciting, young talent in Villa Park, Illinois (outside Chicago).
